The next day, they arrived at the arena. "Let's buy some snacks" said Citrusella. "OK so I want cheese flavored popcorn and a coke". said Vanellope. They going to the food stand and buy some snacks. "They're some perfect spot" said Vanellope. "Then what are you waiting for? Come on before they capture our seat" said Citrusella. They ran fast as they could to capture the seat. The two sit and no one capture it.
"The race will start at 1 minute" the speaker said. "It's almost starting" Citrusella whispered. The time is up and now the race stars but before the race starts they will be a ceremony of a new year. "Welcome to the new year special of Sugar Rush Speedway, Let's sing the national anthem" said Sour Bill.

After singing the national anthem, "Please Welcome, the president of Sugar Rush Speedway, King Candy" said Sour Bill. The people clapped their hands. "Hello my fellow racers and audience. Have some candy. Thanks for a wonderful introduction Sour Bill" said King Candy with a happy face in his face. Sour Bill bowed and walk away. "RACERS, ARE YOU READY?!" King Candy asked. The racers shouted too loud. "But before the race, I need you to toss one gold coin, toss it to the cup and your in the race. Let me go first" King Candy reminded. King Candy toss the coin into the cup and SHOOT, and the speaker said:
King Candy, and now the racers next. Taffyta Muttonfudge "Stay Sweet" Taffyta said with a lovely voice. Candlehead, Swizzle Malarkey, Rancis Fluggerbutter, Minty Zaki, Jubileena Bing Bing "YEAH!!" shouted by Citrusella. Adorabeezle Winterpop, Gloyd Orangeboar "YEAH GO BROTHER!!!" shouted by Vanellope. Crumbelina Di Carmello, Snowanna Rainbeau, Sticky Wipplesnit, Nougetsia Brumblestain, Tovald Batterbutter, Sean Skittle Skate, Minty Sakura. After the racers toss the coin, they get ready to race. "LET THE RACE BEGINS" shouted by King Candy. The lights turn red, Orange and...GO!!! The racers zoom off.
