Georgia's POV

I looked at my best friend in disbelief.

Did he seriously just ask me out.

"Umm James I don't know if that's such a good idea" I said.

"Why" he asked with a sad expression on his face.

"we've only ever been friends and what would happen if we broke up" I asked.

"We'd go back to being friends again" he said like it was a question.

I gave him a small smile but I'm not sure what I want to do.

Yes I'm attracted to him but I lost my fiancé and one of my best friends this year.

"Sorry James I don't think this is the right time to go out at the moment" I said.

"Oh okay well I've got to go" he said in a deadly voice.

"Please James I just need time to think" I said.

He didn't even look back at me, all I heard was my front door slamming shut.

James POV

I didn't understand why she said no, I'm positive she had feelings for me.

Maybe I just thought that she did.

But I guess I'm just around.

Ring ring ring

"Hello" I said to Georgia's personal body guard.

Yes I did hire a body guard for her because I need to know if she's safe and if she's talking to any other men.

"Sir I just wanted to inform you that a bloke from Starbucks is flirting with Georgia" he said.

"Which Starbucks is it" I asked.

"6th woods street" he answered back.

"Well I guess someone's going to be ending there life soon" I said before I hung up the phone.
