It all started on October 28, Wednesday two days before Halloween. Everyone in the class was talking while the teacher, Mr. Chugg, was taking a snooze trip.
"I can't wait till Halloween" said Lexi
"Are you going trick or treating?" asked Sophia
"Totally!" Camille squealed
"What about you boys?" asked Morgan
"Maybe" Sam commented
"I am way to cool for that" Payton said, leaning back in his chair.
"Me too" PJ agreed, doing the same thing, eventually both of them fell backwards which made everyone bust out in laughter, they ended up getting up while giving everyone an annoying look.
"Oh brother" Natasha said while holding her stomach.
"I love Halloween, it's filled with mysteries & creatures like ghosts" Lexi stated
"There is no such thing as ghosts" Austin said
"Yeah, it's just your imagination" commented Drew
"Haven't you guys heard about the legend of Michael Creel?" asked Lauren
"Who's he?" asked Keilon
"Michael use to go to this school & he also died in this school. Some people say before he died he hid the most important treasure, & now two days before Halloween he searches for it" Lexi stated
"Why not on Halloween?" asked Ethan
"I don't know, but I think it's because that's the day he died, but no one knows for sure" Lexi commented
"I'll bet it's all just a story, none of its true" Payton said
"Shut up..... Lex continue" Sophia bellowed
"There was this girl named Jennifer, she came to the school to pick up her Halloween costume from her locker, some people say she went in & saw the ghost & there was a scream, & that was the last of her" stated Lexi. Emily screams & everyone looks at her weird.
"What I am just scared" she defended
"How do you know he's coming?" asked Sam
"First, you feel a cold breeze, then the door slams shut & finally you hear a scream & nobody knows what happens next" Lexi answered
"How do you know these things?" Drew questioned
"Because unlike you guys I listen to stories from my neighbors" Lexi stated
"Uhmm.... Guys it's October 28" Sophia mentioned with a shaky voice
"So who cares?" asked Payton
"Two days away from Halloween" Sophia answered
"THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GHOSTS!" Payton yelled at Sophia
"Yo, bro don't yell at her she's just freaked out." Ethan told Payton
"Okay, I am getting scared I am out of here" Lexi said walking toward the door.
"Don't leave me here", Sophia said shriving, "do you guys feel that, it's getting cold"
"You don't think?" Lauren commented
"So it a bit cold big deal" Payton said
"Whatever, I am out!" Lexi exclaimed walking toward the door just as it slams shut, Lexi tries to open it, but it won't budge, "It's stuck!" she yelled while jiggling the doorknob.
"The story is true" Morgan said monotonous
"Uhmm...... Lexi what happens next in the story?" asked Sam
"You hear a scream" Lexi responded. All of a sudden someone screams and everyone starts looking around to see who it was.
"AHHHHHHHHH, I heard a scream who was it?" Natasha asked freaking out
"One, we all did Tasha & two we don't know" Drew said
"Okay, are you guys trying to pull a prank?" Payton asked a little freaked out
"Y-y-yeah, cause if you are it's not working" PJ said stuttered
"Does it look like were trying to pull a prank PJ?" Sophia asked sarcastically
"There is no such thing as ghost" Payton said trying to be all tough.
"What happens next?" Keilon asked
"Nobody knows" Lexi said. Then everyone hears and eerie sound, "Whoooooo goooooooes theeeeeeerrrreeeee?", then some red stuff started oozing through the walls & the door swings open.
"I have one word for ya'll" Lexi stated
"Really what's that?" asked Camille
"RUNNNNNNNNN!" Lexi shouted. They all ran to the front of the school & try to open it.
"It's locked" comment Laruen
"Break the windows" PJ suggested
"Bad idea, whatever is out there can come in" Sam stated. After a while of just standing there thinking and worrying they hear a scream.
"What the heck! Sophia stop the freakin' screaming?" Payton demanded
"Uhh..... Payton that wasn't me, so why don't you ask before accuse." Sophia said with an attitude.
"Really? Then who wa-" Payton started, but was interrupted by Camille.
"You guys where is Morgan?" she asked worried & looking around for Morgan.
"MORGAN!" Lexi called out
"She's g-g-g-gone" Camille said even more scared
"I want to go home" Lexi said upset
"There is no such thing as ghost!" Payton exclaimed scared as hell
"Payton would you shut up, Payton, PAYTON!" Drew yelled
"Great first Morgan, now Payton!" Sophia said sarcastically
"How many of us are left?" asked Austin
"Twelve" answered Lexi
"I think there's only one thing to do" Natasha mentioned
"What's that?" Ethan questioned while sitting on the floor
"We have to find the treasure." Natasha stated while taking a seat next to Ethan.
"Are you crazy? That would get us in more trouble, & besides we don't even have a map or something to find out where he hid it. I AM NOT FINDING ANYTHING!" Sam said leaning against the school front door. Then everyone hears another scream.
"Great we lost Ethan too! Sam you were saying?" Lexi said with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Let's find that treasure!" Sam said trying to save himself.
