It was a beautiful spring day when b/f/n invite me to come hang out with her and some of her friends at the park.
I knew it would be like every other time, I would usually bring my watercolor paint bag and find a place to sit and paint at while b/f/n and everyone else would chat and have fun.
"Y/n!" B/f/n called as I sat my bike against a tree with everyone else's bikes.
She ran over and tackled me into a hug.
"H...Hi b/f/n," you muttered nervously.
She playfully punches your arm, "come on cheer up!"
She leans in and whispers into your ear, "look who's here!"
You look up ahead to see r/p/n... C/f/n... And c/n.
My face turned a thousand shades redder.
"Ha! Your blushing!"
You start to stutter, "no I'm not!...."
She laughs, "yes you are!"
You scan the area for a place to sit, "I'm going to go paint over there!"
You run to a park bench under the cherry tree as your friend laughs and you pull out you art supplies.
You look up to see everyone crowd around c/n to talk to him, he was pretty popular. You two rarely talked because he's always be talking to someone else and you were far too shy. He'd never notice a girl as shy as you...
I wish he liked me back, but I bet he likes p/g/n...
As you paint you forget about the world around you and focus on your art.
After at least an hour you finish your work.
You let out a tired breath, "finally!"
"Wow that's really good y/n!"
You tense up as you recognize the voice behind you,
"C..c/n?"
"The one and only," you hear him laugh.
"Um...w..what are you doing o...over here?" You ask as you turn to look at him.
Why am I stuttering this much!?
He jumped over the bench then sits next to you.
"Because I'm so awesome!" He said in a over dramatic weird voice.
I laughed slightly, and my face turned a bit redder.
"Actually...I wanted to tell you something.."
C/n's face turned slightly pink.
"Y...yeah?"
"ilikeyou." He said quickly before covering his face with his hands.
You tilted your head, "huh?"
Did he just...
"I like you, and I know we don't talk very much or know each other very well. But I want to get to know you better because your super nice and-"
"I like you too." I said without stuttering.
C/n looks up, startled at your response as he started to say something.
"SO KAWAII," you hear you friend screech from a few feet away as she stopped recording on her phone.
You almost jump,
"You recorded that!?"
"Yup!" B/f/n nodded.
You jumped up and chased your friend trying to grab the phone.
"Delete it!"
"No! It's uploading to YouTube!"
"What! Please no!"
"Email me the link b/f/n!" C/n called.
"C/n! Thats messed up!"
After that day I was never shy again with c/n with me.
