Chapter 2

~ Skip Gym ~
I run to my locker to grab my stuff for Spanish, and I'm punched in the stomach, by the one and only Hunter Rowland. Then Brandon comes with Jacob, Mario, and Mark. The all start slapping, kicking and punching me, I wanted to cry but I learned that it's better if I don't cry at all.
Marks Pov
I hated hurting her, she is always so pretty, and much less plastic compared to the rest of the girls at our school, she also used to be my best friend. But the guys said that the only way I could stay friends with all of them is by beating her up. Or they would start to beat me up too, so I followed along, I always made the softest punches, and easiest stage slaps. At one point she looked up at me with a confused face, I told her 'just go along with it', she nodded.
Cats Pov
I was confused when it was Marks turn to beat me up, he started doing stage punches and kicks. I looked him in the eye, he said "Just go along with it" I nodded. He was actually being nice to me, to think my ex best friend whose friends beat me up is being nice to me ? The 1 min bell just rang, crap I'm gonna be late for Spanish. I have Spanish with Hunter and Mario, they always give me the worst beating,and I sit in front of them, ugh! My teacher said we can zone out if we know conjugating verbs for the test on Tuesday. As I zoned out I started to think about our past we all used to be super close until the start of 6th grade, though I never had any of the guys over and I never told them about my dad. I always said he was busy at work or not home.
---Flash Back---
One day during 5th grade Jacob saw one of my bruises and asked what happened. I ran away and cried I couldn't tell him that if my dad caught me playing with boys, that made me happy, he would kill all of them. I from then on decided that if I wanted to keep them safe I would stop hanging out with them.
---End Of Flash Back---
I was awoken from my thoughts with a crumpled up note, "Go die the world would be better off without you anyways - Hunter, Mario & the rest of the school" I wanted to break down in tears. But then the bell rang, 'saved by the bell much?' And I ran into Ava

C-  hey how was class?
A-  oh it was awesome, I met this really cute boy named Jacob, we're going to be partners for a project in French!
C-Oh cool,(I tried to sound as enthusiastic as possible)
C- What class do you have next ?
A- Reading with Ms.V, you?
C- ha we have the came class, I can show you where
A- great, thanks!
Ava's Pov
Evan though I've only been friends with Cat for about 2 hours, I could tell there was something wrong. At this end of the day I was going to ask her if she wanted to hang out, so I could ask her what was wrong. But for now I'll just let it be. We walked into class and I had to introduce myself to everyone, I saw that Jacob, and Mark his friend were in this class, she sat me down next to Cat, yes I said to myself, I didn't have to sit next to some weirdo.
Jacobs Pov
I just hate her, and after I saw her talking with Ava my future girlfriend, I lost it, even though I haven't broken up with my current one. I told myself to control it and save it for the beating, we all just were so upset when in 5th grade she just left us to play alone. We all missed her laughs and smiles, and her silly games, but one day that all changed...
---Flash Back---
I saw some bruises on Ava's arm and asked her,  what happened? She immediately ran away, but then Mario called me back into the group. I told them what happened we went looking for Ava, because this elementary school was huge. Then Mark found her we all saw Ava sitting by the old oak tree, all alone it looked like she was crying, we all shouted out "CAT". She wiped away her tears and started walking towards us, I could tell that something was wrong. She finally approached us and said " I never wanted to be friends with any of you, goodbye. Mario, Mark, Jacob, Hunter, and Brandon." We were all confused, we did everything together, we were the super 5. All of a sudden Mario was all mad, I was too, he said " when the time is right we will get revenge..." We all agreed except Mark, he was balling his eyes out, I was upset to see my best friend like this. So I walked up to her and kicked her in the stomach, she fell to the floor crying. I felt so much better...
---End Of Flash Back---
I'm out of my head with the sound of giggling, it was so familiar it belonged to Cat. It made me hurt more. I then realized that I was drooling, crap I was embarrassing myself, IN FRONT OF AVA!!!!! Ugh, she's gonna get it!
Cats Pov
I see Jacob get out of his daze and I see drool run down his face and onto the table, I tap Ava on the shoulder and she and I giggle. I missed having a friend to laugh at funny people with.
