It was morning the next day. David Kasai and Irona Ruberatio were having breakfast together. The two were quiet. What was going on has everyone nerves bad. Irona spoke, "Do you think...that boy will be okay."
"Sure. Bryce already agreed to help rescue him." David answered her. "I'm sure everything will be fine."
"It'll be dangerous, though." Cody intervened. "I don't know how they can go through with this."
"Of course you don't." David replied. "It's their choice. You can't tell them what to do."
"I'm just saying. We should think of a safer plan." Cody paused for a moment to think. "Maybe I should go with them." he said.
"Oh no you don't." a random voice said. The three turned their heads to see Kayla's sister, Dejah Mugandian, walking their way. "We need you here in case there's a need for back-up."
Cody argued, "If I went, there won't be a need for back-up."
"If you went, you'd slow them down." David teased. Cody became impatient and is now annoyed. "What did you say?!"
"Dude, just chill." David said.
"You don't know what I'm capable of!", Cody said furiously.
"You wanna go, dirtbag?!" David said, defensively. "No, please don't!", Irona pleaded. Cody grabbed his Katana Ax that laid on a wall near him.
"Idiots...!" Dejah muttered to herself.
David ran to him with incredible speed. He then vanished. But Cody wasn't fazed. He heard something from behind and blocked David's elbow shot with the face of the Ax.
"Sorry, not fast enough." Cody mocked. But he felt as if he spoke too soon. Before he could finish his teasing, David was already in front of him, ready to strike him in the gut. Before he could touch him, Cody sucked his gut in and jumped back. David jumped up. He lifted his right leg and brought it down, fast. Cody was able to block the attack with the handle of his weapon. David once again vanished from above and appeared five feet away from Cody.
"Hm, not bad for a warm up.", David announced. "But you won't be able to keep up for long."
"Ha, like you're ever a ma-" With no warning, Cody was struck. He had trouble breathing. He looked down to see David's fist half buried under his chest. "LION PUNCTURE!", David yelled out. Suddenly, Cody was sent flying across the open cafe. People started to run off.
"Phew, yeah! How do you like me now?!" David gloated. There was no reply. Dust flew everywhere due to mess that was made after David's attack. He couldn't see where Cody was. David squinted to see through the dust. "Hello...?" he called out. "Hey dude, you okay? No hard feelings, right?", still nothing. Suddenly something flew past his head.
"Woah!" He turned around to see something stuck in the wall behind him. He looked at it carefully. In the wall was a butterfly knife. After he realized that, he knew.
"Hey, dimwit!", David heard a voice. He quickly turned to look, but there was no one in front of him. Seconds later he looked up, and Cody was right above him.
"Surprise mutha-" WHAM! Cody smacked David across the cafe with the face of his Ax and stuck him in the wall. It took a few seconds for his body to fall back down, and he landed on one knee.
"AH, David!", Irona screamed.
David, struggling to get up, looked at Cody furiously. Their eyes looked onto each other. Both ready to attack. They launched themselves forward. The fury in their eyes.
