Chapter 9

"Shadow Bullets!" Mizu lifted his left hand up and a dark, swirling vortex appeared. Suddenly black orbs began shooting out of the vortex at Luna and Kayla.

"Uh oh!" Luna said hopping out of the way. Kayla charged forward and used her athleticism to dodge all of the bullets.

"How is she-" Mizu thought to himself as she go closer to him.

Finally, she was right there in his face. She punched him with a felt jab turning her whole body around. As she was turning around, with that same hand, grabbed a card out of her pouch. Her fist came back full circle as a large boxing clove and suncker punched him again sending him flying a few feet away from her till he hit a wall.

Without stopping to take a breather, she went to give him more. He used Dark Teleportation before she could get to him.

Kayla turned around and saw Mizu in the air.

"Luna!" She cried.

Luna was already in the air above Mizu. "Already ahead of you!"

She lifted her right leg up and before Mizu could turn and see her got slammed in the face as her leg came down on him full speed. He fell straight to the floor making a cloud of dust around him.

Luna went to land on the ground, but before she could touch the floor, a large shadowy hand extended from the ground and grabbed her body, trapping her arms. The arm waved around and threw Luna at Kayla sending the both over to Elon's direction.

"Are you two okay?!" He yelled with his hands on the glass wanting to help them.

Kayla got up without answering him. She reached for another card and charged at Mizu. From that card an Energy Sword appeared. It was a silver blade with a green glow around it.

"HWAAA!" She continuously swung at Mizu as he tried his best to dodge every swing.

He then spotted a crowbar on a table and grabbed it. The two went at it in weapon combat. Kayla continuously attacked him aggressively. Mizu, slightly afraid, guarded himself against each swing until the blade of the sword finally cut through the crowbar. Mizu's eyes started to freak-out. Kayla was slightly out of breath, she wasn't done, not one bit.

The Energy Sword dissipated and she whipped out two arm machine guns almost instantly.

"It's over, Mizu!" She said, pointing the guns at him. "You're finished!"

Without warning, she began to rapid fire at Mizu. He summoned a dark shield before any of the bullets could hit him. The shield, however, already began to crack. He knew it wouldn't last long.

She kept on shooting and the shield kept on cracking. Luna didn't want to get in between the chaos. After a while, Kayla stopped shooting. By that time, the shield was on it's last leg.

"You may have Bryce's powers," Kayla proclaimed. "But, unlike you, he's not a coward!"

She spread her gunned arms out and slammed them back together. The machine gun on her left arm began to fuse and transform with the gun on her right arm. The two rapid machine guns were now one Mega Cannon.

Everyone, Luna, Elon, and Mizu, was shocked at what she just created. The weapon looked powerful. Too powerful.

Kayla charged the cannon to fire.

"KAYLA, STOP!" Luna pleaded.

But it was too late.

Kayla fired.

The blast fully penetrated the shield, damaging everything around Mizu. The blast was so large and bright, it temporarily blinded everyone. The force of the blast pushed everything away.
