Senorita (one shot)
On that sunny day
Didn't know I'd meet
Such a beautiful girl
Walking down the street
Seen those bright brown eyes
With tears coming down
She deserves a crown
But where is it now
It was a beautiful bright day, I was walking down to my favorite cafe when I ran into the most beautiful girl i'd ever seen. Brown skin, very dark long hair and the brightest brown eyes id had ever seen. She was crying, tears were running down her cheeks, eyes so red.
We arrived at the cafe door at the same time she then quickly wiped the tears from her face and straightened herself up.
I opened the door for her giving my best worried expression but she just gave me a small smile and a nod of thanks. I walked in behind her and we both stood in line waiting to put in our orders.
She sniffles a bit and ran her hands through her hair and over her face stressed like.
It was her turn to order, she got a caramel macchiato. before she got the chance to pay I swiped my card for her so fast she had little time to get hers out. She looked at me puzzled, i just gave her my sweetest smile. She was about to say something but...
"Name?" The waiter asked
"Normani" she replied softly
She moved off to the side to wait for her drink
"May i take your order" the waiter said to me
"yeah could I have a ice vanilla latte"
After i finished my order and went to move to the side "normani" wasn't standing there anymore.
"Lauren" the waitress calls up my name
I grab my coffee and look around for seating when I see her off to the side looking directly at me, she motions for me to come over to her. I walk over
"Have a seat" she said
My heart was beating hard, fast, wildly. I couldn't contain my grin. I nod and sit
"Thank you for paying for my drink, I didn't even have time to process how much i had to pay you were so quick" she said with a nice white smile plastered on her face
" You're very welcome, I will have to say you look much better when you're smiling... not that you don't look pretty when you were crying but this is nicer." I give myself an internal forehead slap, I cringe slightly at my words
She just smiles and takes a sip of her coffee
"Well I wasn't in the greatest mood"
"Care to share?" I ask
"My ex boyfriend liam and I broke up right before i came here" she said bluntly
"Sorry to hear that" I wasn't sorry at all this was my shot
"Thanks but that's over with now.. Hopefully no drama comes in hand with this"
"Mhm that would be bad news" I say taking a sip of my own drink
"So what brings you in here today" she asked me
"I usually come in here every friday so this was just my weekly visit"
"Really, I don't come in here often but this is a lovely place" She says while looking around
We chat for about an hour or more, We talked about our careers and about relationships and past affairs, our hobbies, and what we're looking forward to in the future.
