Love is overrated.
People who fall in love are idiots, they're risking their feelings. Their entire soul, and well being, for someone else. I mean seriously, I can never imagine myself in that position. When you end up in a relationship, there are two ways it can go down. You break up, and the "love" you had, wasn't eternal.Or, you'd spend your entire life with them, and cherish every moment with them like it's your last. I don't know which path scares me more. And I'm not in the mood to test myself, nor another. I sigh, seeing Shawn fondle with my hands.
"What do you think about love?"
I randomly blurt, immediately I feel him tense from my question.

I feel a stirring in my stomach, like I'm about to say something irrelevant. I stare at Angelica, her eyes meet mine. I feel myself calm at her comforting gaze, gently, I squeeze her hand.
"Well, I think love is a beautiful thing,"
She raises her eyebrows questioningly
"Love controls everything, it makes us human. It determines who we are, and what we aim to do later in life. For example, think about our jobs, we major in what we're passionate in. What we enjoy. Another is relationship wise, imagine being completely in love with someone.
You'd sacrifice your everything for them, which changes our fate. For them, and us. It's a complicated feeling, but it becomes easier to understand when actually feeling the emotion. Or so I've heard."
Her jaw drops from my response, I chuckle lightly.
"Why such a deep answer?"
She questions again, I shrug.
Maybe it's because I've fallen in love with you, but you're too blind to realize it.
