Chapter 5- left out

Amethyst P.O.V

I wake up. I AM TURNING 17 TODAY! And so is Aphmau. But I  go to the shower and take a bath. I put on a Blue skirt and a light blue top. I bought new blue flats and they have flowers on them. After that I curl my hair and put  ribbon around my head like a headband.

 Then I put on mascara and eyeliner, I also put on some light blue eye shadow with blueberry lip gloss. I guess you can tell my favorite color is blue. After all that I go downstairs have some cereal and toast. I drink orange juice and go back upstairs to brush my teeth.

Aphmau tried to take my galaxy leggings again but I locked my room :). Ha ha! I caught her and said, "Were you looking for my leggings?"

"U-uh NO!" she said nervously and went back to her room to put on her purple eye shadow. I was ready 20 mins before Aphmau and I was was watching some TV. when she came down., she looked perfect. I did not know how I was going to compete with that. I have 2 friends so far. Garroth and Laurence. Today a new kid named Travis is coming to our school.

I get on the bus excitedly and see Aphmau with her birthday girl ribbon. I FORGOT MINE! OH NO! Ugh. I move on and Laurence is in the same bus and so is Garroth. Garroth  falls asleep and I draw a mustache with a dry erase marker. When he wakes up Laurence and I are dying of laughter. Then we take a picture and show it to him. "WHAT DID YOU DO!" he screams

"Oh nothing dear, You look like a fashion qu-een!" I say in a fancy accent.

"I'm going to get you and Laurence for this Amethyst." He says taking off the mustache and laughing. We get there and I see a guy with white hair and green eyes. I go over to him and ask him if he needs help.

"Uh hi! Do you need help?" I ask

"Um yes...I am new. My name is Travis and oh boy. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven babe?"

"Ha ha nice try. Anyway I was going to help you until you said that horrible pick up line. so bye" I say walking away and giggling. I get to my locker and start writing a song in my diary. I was in chorus for three years but I was too shy to audition for any solos. People always said I sang like an angel but I don't believe that. I bet I would've never been picked.

Laurence comes over and asks me why I looked so pretty on a Friday. I remember what happened yesterday. He kissed me. i don't know what we are so I just say, "It's Friday."

"Oh right. Anyway come here for a party it's going to be Awesome!" He says and then leaves to math. I have 4 classes with him. Math, Science, Gym and Art. I put the party invitation in my locker and get all my things I'll need today.

I walk to Math and someone pushes me so I fall on top of Garroth. Our faces so close that I only have to move an inch and our lips would be touching. He was blushing and so was I. I tried to get up but someone pushed me down again. Seniors. 

They were laughing at me and Garroth. I tell Garroth we have to do something then Laurence comes in and sees us. His face turns red with rage he takes my hand and drags me to Math class. He left Garroth there but  Aphmau helped him up. "LAURENCE STOP!" I say and I try to make him let go of my hand.

"Why were you and Garroth like that?" He asks.

"It was the s- wait I don't have to give YOU any explanations!" I say punching him. He touches the place where I punched him and I leave stomping and when I get to math he comes in, sits next tome and gives me a note.

I guess I deserved that punch...

I look at him and he looks at me. I hug him and then the teacher comes in. After math is over I ask Laurence to come help me with the homework but he said he was busy hosting a party today. I told him I could help but when I looked behind me he was gone. I go into the cafeteria and when I saw Garroth I blushed. He blushed too. I sat down alone at the corner table and Laurence comes in the cafeteria and takes me to his table.

When Laurence goes to get his lunch all the guys ask me questions. "so uh are you and Laurence a thing?" asked Dante "I mean you did kiss. Garroth told me you did." 

"No we aren't we are j-just friends" I say

"Did you know Laurence loves Aphmau?" Vylad said

"Uh yes...." I said. But I did not really know that.

"So does that mean you are single?" Asked Dante

"Uhm Yes?" I answer.

"Yes!" Screams Dante. "Uh I mean, cool." When he says that I blush a little. Then Laurence comes back.
"Hey amethyst why aren't you getting lunch?" He says signaling the guys. They all leave to buy their lunches so it's just me and Laurence.

"I'm not hungry." I say

Laurence P.O.V

Amethyst seems a little weird today she is not eating or doing well in classes. I wonder what is wrong. "Hey are you ok?" I ask her

"Since I found out I had my dark Magi powers I can't stop thinking that...I might let my evil side take over." She says tearing up.

"No! That won't happen. I will be here to help you get through it , ok?" I say trying to cheer her up. She had Dark Magi. Like me. But I was a knight of the shadows. Lunch is over and she seems very depressed. I go to the office and tell them so she gets to go home. And I do too to take care of her.

 I drive her to my place and she just sits on the couch staring at the wall blankly as if she had no emotions. I give her something to eat but she just looks at it and then goes back to staring at the wall. By now school is over and I have to leave. I am going to pick up Aphmau and take her to her house for the secret party. I drive Amethyst there and she stays at the front door Then when I get there with Aphmau she is blind folded.

We go in and "SURPRISE APHMAU!" I can see Amethyst tearing up so I ask her what was wrong. 

"Haven't you ever wondered why me and Aphmau look exactly the same?" She asks

"Yeah." I reply

"We are twins" She says

"OH! so that means your birthday is.....oh" I say. I WAS SO ASHAMED! I didn't know my future girlfriends birthday or her family. She went upstairs and I followed and so did Aphmau. She told me to stay out of it and went into Amethyst's room. They were in there for a while and then aphmau came out. 

"How is she?" I ask

"Laurence...Do you like me as like more than a friend?" She asks

"Uh no." I say

"Good, Because Amethyst likes you. Give her this." She says giving me a beautiful necklace with an amethyst in it."I was going to give it to her but I have a plushie of her favorite character. She pulls out a small stuffed toy with brown hair and blue eyes. Me! I am her favorite character? How? She hates me! I think.

 I go into Amethyst's room. She has many pictures of her and Aphmau with their foster parents. They died in a car crash. She also has many pictures of all her birthdays. She had 16 photos in one giant scrap book. She just needed number 17. I woke her up and kissed her. She was blushing so I put my arm around her and took a picture. I would print it so she would have a picture for her 17th birthday. 

I give her the necklace and she looks at me and then opens her closet. She has another amethyst necklace. But it's in a box. It had a picture of two women on top, One wearing the necklace. "My mom's name was also Amethyst. When she died I took her necklace my grandparents gave her." She said tearing up. "I got my foster parents when I was 5. Aphmau and I were separated for three years and we came together when I told my new parents about her." She said.

Wow Amethyst had such a sad story. She only knew Aphmau for 14 years. I took her downstairs and everyone looked confused. We sat on the couch and we laughed. everyone was there watching us and then I kissed her again. Dante looked furious but I didn't care. I wanted to stay there with Amethyst for ever and never leave her side.
