to explain things, hinata is a transgender in this story. he's biologically a girl but he sees himself as a boy- and his parents are okay with that, thank you very much. he was registered in the school as a boy, so he wears the boys' uniform and he is often called 'he', hence this, he's in the boys' volleyball team.
for kageyama, well he's a boy. a straight one, may i add.
