After three of them left, only Angel and Daniel remained.
Angel: We are going to meet Vivian and David today.
Daniel: I want to ask you something! Is Sasha still on the suspect list?
Angel: not anymore. She tipped Loca, but other than that we did not find anything.
Daniel: how did you let her go off the hook?
Angel: Because yesterday when Loca said that Sasha delivered those mud covers, I hoped that Veronica somehow told Sasha something regarding this.
Daniel: then?
Angel: When Sasha tipped Loca, I actually thought Veronica's partners in crime were being alerted. But with the turn of events, I can say that Veronica trusted no one. So, they had no clue about the key.
Daniel: how is that possible?
Angel: Yesterday, I did not mention anything about the key. Just asked her about the night of her death. I watched her reactions closely. Even Loca did not bother to mention about the key. They completely forgot about that.
Daniel: that is correct.
Angel: I need to talk to Neil.
Daniel: soon
Angel: Where is Neil's home at Laketown?
Daniel: He does not have one for his own. He stays at his dad's place.
Angel: Who is his dad?
Daniel: Clark, supervisor at the pulp machine. He also has stocks in this company.
Angel: Neil seems to be from a well-to-do family. Did he plan to join the company?
Daniel: Yes. Clark made sure to keep his son near to him.
Angel: Where did he do his internship?
Daniel: at the factory.
Angel: I see. Can we meet Clark?
Daniel: yes. He is in the town.
Angel: okay. We are yet to meet Vivian and Clark then.
Daniel: who is first?
Angel: Vivian. I want to know what Veronica was doing here.
Angel calls Vicky
Vicky: Hi Angel. I am on the way.
Angel: Make sure you have a casual talk with Sasha about Veronica and find out how much ever you can.
Vicky: sure
Angel hangs up and looks at Daniel.
Daniel: we should leave.
Angel: yes, we should.
Angel is lost in thought.
Daniel: what is it?
Angel: I was thinking about what Veronica was doing here and all of a sudden I remembered something.
Daniel: what?
Angel: Alex said that Veronica called him her local guardian.
Daniel: Yes
Angel: let's go to his house. I need to ask him something.
Daniel: What is it about?
Angel: If she visited his house one night before the murder.
Daniel: Are you saying that he has the key.
Angel: he does not know about it.
Daniel: how are you so sure?
