I ran threw the base as fast as my damn feet can carry me. My heart pounded out of control and my lungs hurt. I hade no weapon. No advantage. No nothing. In a middle of a damn base of Knights of Camelot! Damn it Morgana! Anger and determination forced adrenaline into my veins and my muscles. Arrows flies past my head at full speed, barely dodging them.
I stopped dead in my tracks to Knights running towards me up front. I looked around for any loose weapon i could use. I found none. Damn! I turned around to see the Knights who were originally chasing me arrive. Lancelot was with them.
"Give up Victor. You will perish here! Stand down or else!" He threatened, sword drawn and ready to strike if necessary. I gave my most sarcastic smile i could give. Arms wide out like i was prepared to fly.
"You wouldn't hurt a old friend. Besides, I'm more valuable to you alive. " The clouds rumbled above and rain started to pour. The clink of rain hitting metal was all over. The ground became muddy and cold swept into my skin. I was shivering.
"It doesn't matter, Victor. Weather you live or die! We have other resources we can use to find Kate and destroy all who has ever consorted with you!"  He replied. He positioned himself for combat. The other Knights did the same. I chuckled to myself.
Im so fucked.
I glanced back to the Knights behind me. They were ready for combat. Lancelot gave the order before I knew it. They charged at me with swords blazing and confidence in their eyes. I admire their bravery. Their confidence os vital.
I smile as the first solider thrusted his sword at me. I dodged and kneed him in his armor. Hard enough to hurt. A small dent was added, followed by pain in my knee. I ignored it, grabbed his knife from his belt and sliced his neck open. Blood dripped down crimson. It was a beautiful sight to see.

My attacks became venomous. I used the knife from my first kill to throw it at a archer near by. Another solider came at me. His sword and my knife meet with a loud cling. I gracefully flung his sword away, pointing at a fellow solider. I took that chance to stab him in the open area of his helmet. His eyes. He screamed and fell to the floor with the knife in between his eyes. I grabbed his sword and started slashing. I dodged, rolled over a few guards to dodge arrows, slice and diced my way out. Each and every kill made adrenaline pump threw my veins. Each kill i mentally said, For Blazer. For my family. For my home you left in ruins.
For Kate.
Each kill made my revenge cup grow with the blood of these Knights. And I enjoyed it all.

When every guard of Lancelot was killed, I combated Lancelot till he was bloody and on his knees. I pointed my blood covered sword at his throat. He stared at me with so much Hatred I thought he would just kill me their. If looks could kill. His face was bloody and scared. He was tired. So was I. My cloths were covered in blood. My face was also covered in blood. Our heavy breaths were in the air. Rain continues to pour.
"Do it. I dare you! DO IT!" He yelled, continue to stare at me with his hatred. I stared back at him. Half of me wanted to kill him. The other half It didn't feel right. My feelings got the better of me. I had to him go.
"Sorry Lancelot." I dropped my sword and backed up. "Im not going to kill you. Not today. Not like this. We were once friends. Good friends. We can still be. Once I have obtained it." I said. Lancelot stood up. Weary and tired as he is.
"I know you wouldn't do it. I know you. You wouldn't do it. Do you think that god will accept you without a sacrifice? You have gone insane. This is a mistake. Letting me live." He replied. The rain has soaked our hair and made our bones cold. His eyes were cold and menacing.
"You wouldn't do it because of Kate. You love her. I know you do. It was easy to tell." He continued. I turned around to see a free horse, saddled and all. With a bow and a sword intact.
"Don't follow me or next time I will kill you." I threaten and started to run to the horse. I could hear Lancelot scream behind me.
"You will probably get that chance sooner then others!" I mounted the horse and road off to freedom.

I have been riding for weeks and the rain has only stopped three times for once a week. I rode on till Night fell when I heard a horse and a thump coming up further on the trail. I kicked my horse and we galloped up the trail. That was where I saw Kate. She lied unconscious on the ground. Her head was bleeding and her skin was extremely pale. I halted my horse and dismounted. Worry and fear stabbed my heart.
"Kate! Kate!" I yelled, running to her as fast as i could. I checked her injury. It wasn't that bad. I checked for any broken bones. None. I sighed a relief. I picked her up and cradled her. In my arms. Safe. Away from harm. I rested my head on hers lightly. Her forehead was burning. I gently picked her up (bridal style) and set her in the saddle. I got on behind her, grabbed the reins and rode off to find a doctor for her.

We found a abandoned mansion outside the borders of Camelot. I tied the horse up and took Kate inside. Their were medicine still. I used it on Kate and set her in the master bedroom. I got her some clean cloths. A black laced dress I found in a closet. I walked to the door next door and waited for her to awake.

While she was asleep, i studied the gem page I hade in my pocket. Could this be it? Could this be the right god?

Is this my salvation?
