At First Sun's Rise

Chapter 4

I started writing my newest work. I won't start posting it until it's most done. It's easier than how I'm writing this one. Anyway enjoy this chapter.

Feliciano skipped happily along on the dirt road. He to leave earlier so he could go to the market before meeting Ludwig.

Feliciano laid in the grass of an open field, next to the dirt road. The place Ludwig had parted from Feliciano yesterday. Feliciano began to hum a song.

It didn't take long for Ludwig to get there. Just as he promised.

"Ludy!" Feliciano jumped up and hugged Ludwig. "I knew you'd come!" Feliciano smiled brightly.

"I wouldn't miss it." Ludwig smiled a bit. "I, uh made sure I had time to come." He added awkwardly realizing his smile.

Noticing Ludwig's small smile, Feliciano giggled a bit. "Come Ludy!" Feliciano grabbed his hand and pulled him, more into the grassy field.

"Where are we going?" Ludwig asked following Feliciano, trying to ignore the fact they were holding hands.

"Some where special." Feliciano smiled. Honestly he had not idea where they were going but if they continued they would definitely discover a special place. They continued until they got to a large open field.

"Ludy, Lugy lets stop here!" Feliciano let go of Ludwig's hand and ran forward, spreading his arms and spinning. The wind blowing his hair. Feliciano didn't really notice but Ludwig was staring. "Let's play a game! Tag your it." Feliciano tagged Ludwig before he could respond and started running in the opposite direction. Ludwig sighed before chasing after Feliciano.

Feliciano laid next to Ludwig in the grass. They'd been running around almost all day. Feliciano looked up towards the sky.

"This was fun!" Feliciano smiled, his smile changed as a thought came into his head. "Lud how long do you think the war is going to last?"

Ludwig was a bit surprised at this sudden question. "I don't know. It doesn't seem like it will be ending any time soon."

"Ludwig, I want to continue meeting with you." Feliciano knew that if Roma learned who he was meeting than he would never be aloud to meet Ludwig ever again.

"Feliciano your crying." Feliciano hadn't noticed he was crying, he touched his cheek and noticed wet tears. "It'll be ok." Ludwig tried to comfort Feliciano.

"But Grandpa won't let me go near any soldiers. I won't be able to see you again." Feliciano felt warmth around him. Ludwig was hugging him, his strong arms around Feliciano.

"I promise we'll meet again. Meet me here at first sun's rise."

"I'll be there." Feliciano said nodding.

Ludwig walked Feliciano back to the dirt road in silence. The sun was starting to set as they departed.

Feliciano opened the door to the house.

"Feliciano where have you been?!"

I apologize if this fanfic is crappy. I hope your enjoying it. I might add a quick side story into Lud's and Feli's past. It won't be that long.
