Chapter 6

The next day...

It was the day school began. I had fell asleep in Louis and Harry's room as they asked me to stay for a bit longer and we ended up having a movie night. It was 6:15 AM and I realised that the lads and Liz were still asleep.

"Lizzy... Honey wake up, we'll be late for school!" I was surprisingly calm when I asked her that. She groaned into her pillow. I decided to use the trick Louis and Liam (A/N: He and Liam used to be roommates till 2 years ago when Liam got shifted into Niall's room) used to use when she wouldn't wake up. I sighed and screamed into her ear "OMG! Lou, are you ok?!" She woke up immediately and ran towards Louis' room where she found him fast asleep.

She was so not a morning person. Her hair looked as if a bird had made its nest in it. She took her uniform and hopped into the shower. I woke up Harry who was not very difficult to wake. I just had to shake him once and that was it. Louis was passed out. "I'll take care of him... you go take a shower." Harry told me. Louis was not an easy person to wake.

Finally after 30 minutes, all of us are ready to go to class. I hope I have classes with the lads and girls. We walked towards the reception and asked the receptionist for our schedules. Thankfully, I had 1st 5th and 7th period with Louis, Liam and Harry. I shared 2nd 3rd and 4th period with Rose and Liz. And I had chosen photography and German as my extra subjects and Niall and Zayn were with me!! I was so happy that I had at least 2 of my best friends in each class!

Me, Harry and Louis walked towards the classroom. Our first period was English. We walked into the classroom. It was like an auditorium and was semi circle in shape. I sat in the middle and on either side, I had Harry and Louis. And unfortunately, next to Harry was the bitch Isabella Martin who had ruined my social life and left USA afterwards.

"Some people think that I am JEALOUS of them and that I want everything they have!!" Isabella was speaking to Harry and emphasised the word Jealous and it was clear that she was talking about me. Harry ignored her and put his hand on top of mine. Louis noticed my face turning red with anger and asked me to calm down.

After a few attempts of trying to make me jealous, Isabella finally gave up. Louis and Harry were my shield against her and Harry even asked her to stop talking and to concentrate on the lecture. Ah! He's so sweet.. Hey! Mel stop thinking about your best friend like that. He is just your best friend, nothing more nothing less...

"Once I and Mel threw a party on the roof of our school and the next day, a hot teacher came into our room and told us that we were busted but he saved our ass and Mel was very serious about her studies and she got angry and went outside and Nick went after her!! OMG it was so romantic how he went after her and calmed her down..." Harry's expression was shocked and Louis also heard the whole conversation and was equally surprised.

After attending Biology, Maths and Geography, it was finally lunch break. We took over a large table and sat down as usual Harry and Louis by my sides Liz sat next to Louis and kissed him straight on the lips. Zayn made a disgusted face at them and Liz showed him her tongue. Niall was awing them and Liam and Rose were busy snogging. Ugh! "Zayn?" I pointed towards Liam and Rose. "Oh my god! Get a room you two!!!" Zayn shouted immediately separating them.

Harry tapped my shoulder and I looked up at him "The things which Isabella told us about you, was that the reason you were crying last night?" Harry and Louis gave me questioning looks and I had a straight expression on my face. I lightly nodded my head and Harry put his hand on my thigh and smiled lightly at me. My eyes were starting to tear up and I excused myself and walked away.

Liz came behind me. I suppose Louis sent her. I walked into the bathroom and started crying. Liz entered from behind and after seeing my condition, she kneeled down and hugged me. "What's wrong? Why are you crying??" I thought I should tell her cause she is even more protective than Louis and Harry. She is practically like an elder sister to me. In the past 2 days, I told her everything. Everything that happened in my past, she knows.

I narrated the whole scene to her that happened in the classroom while I was still partly in tears. Although I seemed strong from outside, I was completely broken from the inside. My parents, Isabella, Nick, they all were the reason for my drifting heart and soul. The only people who now understood me were my friends at school. I hugged Liz after I finished the story and Rose stepped in. Lizzy's eyes were glassy. Rose saw us both and leaned down. She asked us both what had happened but I wasn't in the condition of telling her anything so Liz told her. She hugged me and told me that everything will be alright.

"Your eyes are so red and puffy! I think you should go to the dorm and relax for a bit and come back later. We will tell Harry and Louis for you..." Liz suggested. "Yeah I think that is a brilliant idea. I need to spend some alone time anyway. But what will you guys tell to the professors?" I questioned Liz and she shrugged and looked over at Rose expectantly. "We will tell them you are sick and will not be here for class. Okay??" Rose told me. I relaxed and walked out of the school premises while still half crying.
