Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

I saw Niall today. He was at Liv's wedding. It's been 7 years since I've last seen him. 7 long, hard years. I still remember every "date" we went on.

I remember when we rode the horses to the pond. He made a picnic and we watched the sun set. I got to know Niall better that day. He let me in on secrets only the band knew, and some secrets he hadn't told anyone.

I shared some secrets that day too. I told him about how my dad died and my plans for the future. In that moment we thought it would work out for us in the end. But soon after, Rhonda made sure it didn't.

It hurt me terribly to let Niall go, but it helped me a lot. I stalked him over Internet and magazines while he was still famous. His picture would remind me what I gave him up for. It strengthened my resolve to accomplish my goal.

If I hadn't broken things up with him, I think everything would've gone wrong. I would've hated living in the spotlight. He was kind enough to leave me alone once I broke it off. He might have not wanted to, but he respected me enough to leave me be. I wouldn't have had all my resorts if we hadn't broken up.

Niall helped me reach my one goal in life. I would make the world a better place. I was hurting after the breakup, but it made me realize again that life is not all butterflies and rainbows. I knew that before Niall came into my life, but he made me forget that. I needed the reality of life to sink back into my head so I could accomplish my dreams.

Leaving him was one of the best decisions to take at the time. But maybe, now, we'd make it work. He was no longer famous, and I was far away from Rhonda, my business flourishing. Maybe this time, we'll end up together...

Next Day's Entry:

Dear Diary,

Niall showed up on my doorstep today. It was really weird and stalkerish, but adorable. He showed up with a bouquet of flowers and asked me out for lunch.

I think Liv told him where I lived. Anyways, I accepted the lunch date. He blindfolded me and drove me to an unknown place. When he took off the blindfold, we were at a park. It was beautiful. The flowers were in full bloom. Niall helped me out of the car and pulled a picnic basket out of the back of his car.

He brought me on a picnic!!! It was kind of like our last picnic, but this one I think was better. Niall was no longer a huge star, and I could be seen with him in public.

He packed baked lays chips, turkey BLTs, a bag of blueberries, and a chocolate cheesecake. These are all my favorite foods!! But how did he know that? Once again, Liv probably told him.

Today we just caught up on everything that happened in the last 7 years. Lots of things changed, but the most important things still stayed the same. I obviously still had feelings for him, and he probably still had feelings for me since he asked me on a date.

And later on, we went to the playground and Niall pushed me in the swings. Soon after though, we had a contest how far each could jump off the swing. I obviously won.

We spent the entire day at the park. It started raining and he gave me his jacket. It was so warm, and smelled so good. But when it started pouring, we left the park and drove back to my house.

At the door he kissed me!!! It was a small peck, but it's still a kiss. And he said he wanted to hang out again some time. Maybe it will work out for us. Only time can tell.
