"Come on Chelsea, just push! You can do it! Push!"
I know what this looks like.
I can assure you Chelsea is not giving birth at Tesco.
Pinky swear.
I bet you're confused. Don't worry, I would be too.
Basically, I'm trying to encourage Chelsea enough for her to give me a lift so I can squeeze through a window.
Yes, shops have windows, it's a miracle, I know!
"You're too heavy, Jas!"
I inhale sharply and glare at her.
"I'm what?" I growl.
"Heavy!" She says with a groan.
That's it. No one calls me heavy and gets away with it. I mean who does she think she is? Going around calling people heavy! I mean heavy is just another word to insult overweight people with isn't it?
Oh my god.
She didn't....
"Did. You. Just. Call. Me. Fat?" I spit out, breathing hard after every word.
Chelsea looks at me, her blue eyes wide with realisation.
"U-um no of c-course not!"
I scowl at her before relaxing my face and giving her a nod.
"Good, now pick me up and push me up!"
She nods meekly and crouches down near my feet. She links her fingers together to make a platform for me to stand on and as I do so she pushes me up. I can feel her weaken as I stand on her and I jump as high as I can to reach the window ledge to give her a break.
The minute I step off, she gives a sigh and just sinks to the ground, panting and sweaty.
"You need to work out," I remark with and amused face.
She just groans.
I laugh and then around to look at the window before giving it a hard shove. To my surprise it opens up and I feel like doing a little victory dance.
"Chelsea it's open! Here give me your hand."
"Thank god," she says as she reaches out towards me, "I don't think I'd be able to open a locked window!"
I pull her up easily and help her stand on the ledge before speaking.
"We'd just have to smash it with something," I reply with a shrug.
"You're impossible," she mutters as she climbs through the window. I hear a thump followed by an "oww" a second later.
I presume she landed safely.
I decide not to waste any more time and jump out, landing on my feet with the grace of a dancer before wiping my hands on my jeans and offering one to Chelsea to use as a support.
"How do you do it?" she grumbles, "you're like a ninja or something!"
"I'd prefer 'or something'", I say looking around. It's quite dark, but I can tell we're at the front of the store which is great news for me because my house is only two streets away and now I can be sure that I won't get lost.
"Chels, do you want to sleep over at mine tonight," I check the time on my phone, "it's like twelve twenty three and I don't think your mum would approve of you turning up at home now."
"As much as I want to, I can't stay tonight," she says with a sigh.
I look at her questioningly.
"Mum left for a flight to Germany to meet dad at six and Jamie's all alone with Ruby. Someone has to look after them."
"Chelsea, Jamie's nineteen and Ruby's six don't worry."
"But I'm their sister, I always worry."
I stay quiet and think about my own family for a few seconds.
"I suppose you would," I finally say.
She smiles at me and gives me a hug.
"See you tomorrow then!" She says as she starts walking back to her house.
"Don't miss me too much," I yell back with a smile as I make my own way home as well.
*TEN MINUTES LATER*
"How am I going to get over the wall?" I groan as I look at the brick wall in front of me with disgust. Our apartment management is really tight on security and unfortunately I don't know the passcode for the normal entrance (the gate) so my only chance of getting in is climbing over this massive wall.
"Just great," I mutter.
Using the vines growing up the wall, I slowly heave myself up and start crawling up the five meter wall.
"Ouch," I wince as I grab a part of the vine with thorns on it.
"What the bloody hell are you doing?"
I'm so shocked I let go and fall f the wall with a yelp. I close my eyes and brace myself for the impact.
You've probably guessed what happens.
No I didn't land in a bush, what is wrong with you?
Geez!
I'll tell you what happens.
I land in someone's arms and when I look up I immediately realise who they belong to.
They were Ethan Maguire's arms.
And boy were they comfy.

Finding Your Aladdin
Novela JuvenilTo me the whole concept of romance is like a Disney story. You've got the drama, the anticipation, the bad guy and the cute little characters who give the story some flavour. But most of all, you've got true love. Now where can I find some of that?
