Mekarino's POV
"Lady Tsunade, I found this neko wandering in the forest. I thought you would like to see her." The silver haired man said, pushing me forward.
"Good thinking Kakashi. If you don't mind, I would like to talk to her alone." Tsunade half-asked. The man, Kakashi, nodded, and then left.
I turned to face Tsunade, my tail wrapping around my leg.
"So what's your name, age, and where you from, Neko?" She asked. I hesitated, not sure what to say. "Well?"
"Mekarino Anakazi, age 17, and I'm from the Village Hidden In The Night." I stopped there. Nekos are taught only to say what's needed, and nothing else. Again, my gray-white tail twitched. Something was watching me.
"Nice name." Tsunade began. "Though I can't let you go back to your village yet. I am going to arrange for you to go live with a few other Nekos until I can find time to ask you a few questions."
I nodded my spirit dropping. At least I'll be with other Nekos. She wrote me the address on a piece of paper a waved me out.
"Arigotou, lady Hokage."
•Scene transition•
"Hello. You must be Mekarino. I'm Cathrina Blackheart, the oldest Neko in the place." said the red head with orange ears and tail to match. "Welcome to The Neko Hotel!"
"Uhh... Thank you? So, is this where I will be staying?" I asked. She nodded. "Okay, so where will I be sleeping?"
"Go up the stairs. Your room is the fourth one on the right." Cathrina explained. I nodded and heading up to my room.
Once up, I unpacked what little I had in my bag into the black dresser in the corner of the room. Once finished with that, I looked around the room. The bed sets where black with a white paw print in the middle. The curtains were same pattern, along with the wallpaper. The walls were a little more of a grayish though. The bed rails were a blackish wood and the bed had drawers built into it.
I sat on the bed and let the new sights and smells sink in. I reached out to the desk and grabbed a picture. Twisting my white hair with my fingers, I stared at photo. It was of a tall, blond-haired male and me hugging each other in his room. I had to leave on a mission that day, and I wanted to have a photo of us so I could remember our lives together, if I wasn't able to come back. And, sadly, that's what seemed to be happening.
"I miss you baby." I told the photo. "I wish you were here now."
There was a knock on the door, then Cathrina barged in. "Hey, just coming in to check up on ya. You haven't left the room since you came up, so I was getting worried." She blabbed. "Hey, who's that picture of?" She was now pointing at the photo that was still in my hands.
"It's... Me and my boyfriend, back home." I whispered.
"What's his name?" Nosy.
"I don't feel like telling you yet. I don't really know you all that well." Was NOT going to trust her JUST yet. I wasn't going to be there long anyway, at least I hoped. "Do you mind if you leave. I just want to get some sleep."
"Oh!" She gasped. "Sure! If you need anything, come and find me. I'm in the first door to the left." I nodded.
I took out my pj’s and slid them on. I then hopped into the tiny twin bed. Taking one last look at the picture, I mumbled, "Love you honey. Hope we can see each other soon." I laid my head on the little black pillow and closed my eyes. 'Maybe he's thinking of me right now.' I thought. I soon drifted off to the dream world.
Deidara's POV
'Damn it!' I mentally yelled. 'Meka's only been gone for three days! Why can't I get her off my mind?' I punched the wall, aggravated as hell.
"Deidara, you need to be quiet! The person on the other side of that wall is trying to fucking sleep!" Hidan whisper yelled, poking his head in the door.
"Okay, asshole." I mumbled. He left and I crawled into bed. 'Damn. Now I got Hidan on my ass. Well, I hope Meka gets home soon.'
