~Bad Hair Day~

Mal's Point Of View

{Setting~ Hallway, Auradon Prep}

"E, do you really expect Jane and Lonnie to know the first thing about boys?" I questioned stopping her from pulling me further down the hall.

"Um... No. I guess your right. Maybe this was a bad idea!" She turned around to go back to the dorm when Jane came skipping around the corner.

No offense to her, but god her hair was bad. I'm trying not to be mean, but look at it. Yikes!

"Hey Mal, Evie. What are you two doing?" She stopped at stood at the top of the stairs next to us. Evie stepped forward.

"We need your advice about a boy Jane. Well Mal needs your advice, not me. Why would I need your advice? Its not like I'm dating anyone or anything." Evie babbled and I sensed that there was something she wasn't telling me, but I ignored it.

"Sure, whats up?" Jane smiled and I explained. "Well I think Ben expects me to tell him that I love him, but I don't know what love feels like so I can't. I think he might break up with me, what should I do?"

"Well one thing not to do is keep this from him. Thats the first mistake your going to make. I mean I have no experience in dating but maybe I could help if you set me up with someone!" Jane suggested and I raised my eyebrows.

"Who did you have in mind?"

"Carlos." she answered dreamily. My mouth dropped open. Jane wanted me to set her up with Carlos. Is she joking?

"Please Mal. All you have to do is ask. But don't make it sound like I asked you to ask him. Just make me look good or something." she requested and I sighed.

"Fine." I agreed and Jane squealed "Thank you." Before she ran off down the hall.

"Being good is so hard sometimes." I complained and Evie rolled her eyes. "Come on, I remember seeing grass before you snatched the mirror of me. I think Carlos is on the field." She pulled me down the stairs to do something good for someone.

Carlos Point Of View

{Setting~ Tourney Field, Auradon Prep}

I was just finished doing laps with Ben when I heard Mal calling my name and waving me over. I jogged over to her and Evie.

"Whats up?"

"Nothing much. Say, don't you think Jane's kind of... cute?" Mal asked smiling in a mischievous way.

"Um... sure I guess shes okay." I said shielding my eyes from the sun.

"Great. How about you, I don't know... ask her on a date?" Mal encouraged and I gaped in shock. Why would I ask out Jane? I definitely do not like her like that.

"How about I don't." I suggested turning to leave, but Mal put her hand on my shoulder and turned me around.

I looked at her hand. "Do you mind?"

"Look, Carlos come on. Don't tell her I told you this, but she's only going to help me if you go on a date with her." Mal admitted and I laughed.

"What do you need her help for?"

"Oh, you see Ben-" Evie began, but she was cut off when Mal elbowed her in the side. "Shut up E." she hissed under her breathe.

"This is about Ben. Are you kidding me? What could Jane possibly know about relationships? Shes never been in one. Trust me, I know she tells me all the time that she wants her first boyfriend to be someone she really likes and that likes her back and..." Mal looked at me as I figured out what Jane had been inquiring for the past few weeks.

"Oh no, Jane wants to date me. Like actually date me." I chocked on my words. "Duh." Evie said flicking her blue hair over her shoulder.

"So you'll do it?" Mal asked grinning, puppy dog eyes at the ready.

"No, I won't do it. Instead of wasting your time with someone who would need to be in a relationship before they give you advice, why don't you just ask someone who has been in one." I left the two of them standing there and went to change.

[AN: Hey :) This was a little longer than the last chapter. Going to change the plot up a bit I think. Thanks for reading, hope you like it <3   -Jess]
