Sherlock flew down and landed a few yards away from the mysterious man. He looked at the man suspiciously, trying to decide if the man had any weapons or something that could harm him. Seeing nothing Sherlock slowly walked toward the man as he folded his wings behind him. The man saw Sherlock approaching and stood up with a small smile on his face. Once Sherlock was within a few feet of the man he stopped and stared.
"Who are you?" Sherlock asked cautiously. He didn't want to get hurt or have something else happen.
"My name is John Watson." John replied happily.
"John Watson? Nice name. Why were you watching me?" Sherlock said, still cautious of John.
"I heard a noise and came to see what it was. I saw you and was entranced so I sat down to watch. It's amazing what you do." John said he voice filled with sincerity.
"You mean that? Honestly?" Sherlock asked a small bit of hope filled his voice.
"Of course I mean it. Why wouldn't I?" John asked.
"No reason. Where are you from?" Sherlock decided to change the topic.
"I'm from London but I'm out here staying with my parents until I can find a flat or someone to share one with." John smiled sadly.
John needed a flat and Sherlock needed a flat mate. This worked out perfectly.
"You could share a flat with me. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a kitchen and a lounge as well. Obviously." Sherlock said.
"Really? You mean it?"
"Yeah of course. I'd really like to have you as a flat mate. Although I play the violin and occasionally don't talk for days on end. Is that okay with you?"
"Yeah that is totally okay." John smiled and shook Sherlock's hand "Thank you so much."
"It's not a problem." Sherlock replied. "The address is 221B Baker Street and you can move in anytime.
John thanked Sherlock again and left to go pack his stuff. Sherlock smiled to himself and went back to flying.
