Meanwhile back on the frontlines the Marine group managed to get to the rest of the battalion after the Staff Sergeant was all patched up and met with the Lieutenant who was in search of his best men. Once the Marines reached the Lieutenant, the young Sergeant asked, "Where do you need us at sir!" The Lieutenant replied, "Sergeant I need you and your men to provide covering fire before we can roll our tanks through to finish off these Jerry's!" So as soon as the Jerry's started putting pressure on the allies, the young marine and his men decided to play hardball with the Jerry's. The fight would continue on into the night as the bullets still fly through the air. But when both sides were getting tired they came to a cease fire and waited until the morning light. But as the enemies were resting and waiting for the light the young marine and his men had blind sided them with a sneak attack taking the Jerry's out one by one as they slept. Then when daylight broke the young Sergeant and his men walked back to the Allied camp tired and covered in dirt and blood, and just as they set their equipment down the Lieutenant walked up and asked them why they were covered in dirt and blood. The Sergeant explained it to the Lieutenant that they had waited in a big pile of dirt rubble until both sides gave up for the night in order to attack them and weaken the enemies defenses and offensive attack. The Lieutenant who was in shock and awe congratulated the men on their mission and told them to rest up before advancing to the next spot while the rest of the battalion moved up. Later in the afternoon the battalion was already many miles down the road the Sergeant and his men woke up and got ready to move on they came across the medics who were at the ready to be escorted to the next spot. The Sergeant then asked what they were doing here and the head Medic said that they had orders to be escorted to where the battalion was with the best marine squad in the war. The Sergeant then looked at his men and said load up cause we're going to have company with us and the battalion needs these medics alive so do what you can to keep them that way. While they were all walking in formation towards the rest of the battalion, the only radio op in the squad starting hearing calls for immediate backup from the Lieutenant. The Sergeant then said let's pick up the pace people we got to keep moving. Now the squad plus the medics are sprinting for their lives trying to get to the rest of the battalion then they came across a hill and saw a lot of explosions everywhere and bullets flying across so now the battalion is falling back to regroup and the squad joins up with them. Then as soon as the squad and the battalion join back together, the leaders of each squad gathered around the strategy table with the Lieutenant. As the leaders are gathered around the table they go over the plan to counterstrike the enemies that had pushed them back. The Sergeant would say, "We need to set traps before the enemy shows up so that way when they trigger the traps we can counter them and cause them to fall back." the Lieutenant would agree with the Sergeant's plan as he orders the demolition squad to set the traps, as the demo squad set the traps they started hearing the enemy tanks with the rest of the enemy battalion get close, the demo squad would then sprint back to the camp and tell everyone that the enemy was on its way to the traps. The entire Allied battalion would then encamp themselves in abandoned buildings waiting for the signal to begin the counter attack on the enemy. Once the enemy tanks triggered the explosives that's when both the Sergeant and the Lieutenant give the signal for the battalion to fire until the enemy either retreats or gets eliminated. Once the enemy battalion that once pushed back the allies got defeated the entire Allied battalion packed up everything and headed back to the Allied headquarters to await orders from the general. The General would pull the Staff Sergeant aside and tell him that he is being promoted for his hard work and dedication.
