As I followed Mr. Blackbourne to the nurse office, I focused on my ribs.
Now I know that most people would probably try to ignore the pain, but it had been drilled into me to keep my mind on it for two reasons; One, I deserved it, and two, I needed to know how to deal with pain.
It was a lesson I had learnt the hard way, and there was no chance I was going to forget it anytime soon.
I was jolted out of my thoughts by a sudden stop at the door labeled 'Nurses office'.
As Mr. Perfection-in-a-suit-and-tie opened the door, we were greeted by a handsome blond man, who looked to be the same age as Mr. Blackbourne.
He had smiling green eyes, sparkling with mischief and curiosity, and a cheerful demeanor to match the blinding smile he had.
"Owen, I didn't think you were in the habit of kidnapping beautiful young ladies, but I stand corrected"
Mr. Blackbourne sighed, "Miss Sorenson, Meet my colleague; Dr. Sean Green"
