Sasha's POV at the age of 16

My feet hurt. I was running, running through the woods. I need to find them, or he'll kill me. "Why are you so stressed out?" he asked me. I didn't answer, it would use breath, and that's what I needed the most right now.

I stopped, and looked around. It was silent for a second, and then I heard footsteps. I had to make it fast; before Victoria would know that I was gone. Before Anna and Hank would realize I wasn't there. It wasn't that late about half past ten I guessed.

"fucking seedeater" I whispered to myself, under my breath. If he would reach the city in his panic they would surely search the woods for other strange mutants. He was always near some houses. I'll get Jack for that.

I whistled to hear where Smile was. He was helping me out. He growled and I knew where it was coming from. So I searched for Sed. I don't know, that's a nickname L.J has given him. It was handy when you searched for him.

Then I found him, I shot in front of his feet. He backed away and run in some other direction. Smile surrounded him and he ran in my direction. So I threw a rope around him and pulled. He was stopped by me and the help of smile. It was old school, but I took my walkie-talkie and told Jack that I got him. A few minutes later he came to the place we found Sed at.

He went home with him but as I asked him why he was so crazy today, he said that he didn't know himself. So I let them go, Smile included. I was also on my way home. But I didn't expect to hear what I did. There was screaming and then a fire lit up. Then I realized that it was Toby's house. I was so shocked and wanted to see what's going on.

Suddenly Toby came out of it, blood on his Sweater, hatchet in his hands. And he saw me, he could clearly see me.

I had a shocked look on my face, so did he. What was happening? But what made me angry, was seeing Richard waiting for him. He stood there and lured him into the woods. I could see how those two disappeared behind trees.

How could he do that? He knew Toby, he knew what he was to me. Was he serious? I was so angry that I killed some trees before I walked back home, it was already in the morning. Anna and Frank were angry and worried, so was Victoria.

It was the day they went to the Airport. And four days later, was their funeral.

30 years later

I could never tell Vic that I knew about Toby. That I knew it was him. And in that moment I saw it, I thought he wasn't the Boy I fell in love with, but that view changed. He was still Toby, but more brutal. But if I'd thought more about it, I liked that side. To see how he does his 'job'.

And now, my daughter is married to a mute Boy that found a way out of being a Proxy. She was pregnant, that was the reason they were out of the game.

I was glad that I get to be a grandma, although I lived this kind of life.
