I heard beeps coming from somewhere and Lisa's voice telling me to wake up. I was scared. After a while I woke up,my head hurting. I went to check if I was okay. My hands were covered in bits of dried blood and my body covered in bruises. I looked up and saw where I had fallen from. I had pretty much jumped off that cliff. Almost.
I searched around the forest, seeing if her body was anywhere. It wasn't. I had been walking for hours now. I hurt so much. I was sad. She was dying, I was dying. I stopped walking and rested against a tree. I felt sick. I started coughing up blood and my last step was taken. I passed out.
"Will she be okay?"
"I don't know if she'll wake up."
I heard voices talking as I opened my eyes. I thought I was safe at home with Lisa. But no, I was still in the forest. She was probably somewhere, afraid.
I had walked farther, until I heard more people talking behind me. I'd turn around trying to see who it was. I stopped walking.
"I give up!" I wailed. I coughed up more blood as I collapsed.
"No. No!" I started running through the endless forest calling her name. I'm never giving up.
