I glanced over my schedule. I have mentoring first and lucky for me I am in the teen category, since I'm only 17, so my mentor is Demi Lovato. I walked down the hall that all the mentors rooms were on until I found the door that read Demi Lovato. I still couldn't believe that she is mentor, she is my idol and her music has helped me through a lot of hard times in my life, meeting her so amazing but being able to spend time with her and get music advice is a dream come true.

At my audition when the first round of judges told me I would be going to see the real judges I cried so hard. I remember walking on the stage and the first person I saw was Demi. When all four of the judges said yes I couldn't believe it. Bootcamp went by really fast. I thought I was going to get emlinated but I guess the judges have faith in me.

I knocked on the door and she opened it and greeted me with a friendly smile and a hug. We talked a little bit about what got me started into singing and about my past. I told her about how I was bullied a litttle bit but her music helped me stay strong. I also told her about my parents divorced and how upset  I was about it. She told me a little bit about herself. We talked for over an hour.

"I was very impressed by your audition and you have stood out to me since then, espically since your preformace at bootcamp. I knew from that second that I had to let you continue to live shows. You have an amazing voice and you can really hit high notes so I was thinking for your first live performance you should sing my song Made in the USA."

"No, Demi there is no way that I could sing that. People will compare me to you and you are very hard to be compared to. You have an incredible voice and I have only been singing for a few years."

"I don't think you realize how good your voice actually is. You have a great singing career ahead of you, even if you don't win. Trust me... you can sing this song and it will be amazing. Now come one let me hear you sing it."

Even thought I doubted her words I stood up and walked to the mic.

"Our love runs deep like a chevy..."

The more I sang the more I got comfortable. I was on tune, even with out music. I hit almost every single not until the last one.

"I'm sorry, I don't know if I can hit that note."

"It's alright, your performance is only supposed to be about a minute and half long so we can take the ending part out and stop at the end of the second chorus. Try again and I'll tell you when to stop"

I nodded and started singing again and stopped when she told me too. She said it was very good and I went through it a few more times. We checked the time and we only had 25 more minutes until it was time for her to mentor one of the other teens. She said I could leave early but I don't know how long I will be on the show and how much more time I will get to spend with my idol so I decided I would stay and I talk to her a little bit more. She told me about the dark time in her life when she had to go to rehab. I teared up quite a bit during her story. She seemed so happy all the time and it wa so hard to believe she went through all that stuff.

"Fame is hard, especially as a teenager. I want you to know that you are going becoming famous and you will start to get hate, but please Eva, do not let it get to you. It is just their opinion and it doesn't matter. If they spent time hating on you that proves that they have nothing better to do. Just remember while they are sitting behind a computer screen at home you are living your dream and thats all that matters."

"Thank you so much Demi. You inspire me so much."
