The first thing I'm going to address is the fear of death that all living things seem to have. Some people claim that they are not scared to die, while others fear it with their entire being. Even animals have the fear to die, you can see it in the eyes of every ailing creature. Now, the people who claim they don't fear death are lying to themselves. You can be the bravest or calmest person to ever live but I believe somewhere inside everyone the fear of death lurks. Honestly though, I don't think its death we fear. I believe it's the unknown world after death that we are afraid of. This in fact brings me to my next topic in this section, which is what happens after we die.
There are many religions in this world that claim to know what happens when we die. Some say we go to heaven or hell while others claim were reincarnated. The funny thing to me is that there are people in each religion who claim that they know for a fact what happens when we die. This is funny to me because it's a complete lie. The truth is no one actually can tell us what will happen for sure. As much as people would like to know what happens we can't find out until our time has come.
There is two good things I see in these theories though, and that is the hope they provide people with and the way they try to eliminate the unknown element of death. All of the theories provide some sort of hope that we humans will reach a better state than we are in now. The interesting thing about this hope is humans cling to it all in the hope of making death seem less scary. It's the same way with the way they try to eliminate the unknown element of death. We always try and come up with theories of what happens when we die in order to prepare for the unpreparable.
