So I really don't have much to say here but still wanted to write about it. I'm sure at somepoint everyone has looked back and said the words "I wish I wouldn't have done that" or " I wonder what would have happened if I did this instead." In fact the other day I heard my friend use these words over spending money at a certain place to much. Now this got me thinking; Is there anything I wish never happened or was done differently?
After much consideration I don't think I would change anything from my past. Now I know people would call me out on this and say I'm lying, but there is reasoning behind it. For two years I lived in a place where I absolutely hated every second of existence. At the time all I could think about was how much I could change the past so that I would have never ended up there. Now when I look back on it I get a sense of happiness and accomplishment. The happiness clearly comes from the fact that it's over but the accomplishment is different. The feeling of accomplishment comes from knowing that I made it through what I would call a living hell and came out a little better than before. If it wasn't for that neighborhood there is no way I would know some of the things I know now, and that is why I personally wouldn't change my past.
