Chapter 1

[ Lukas ]

The sunlight behind the curtains woke me up, realizing that I am on a floor in a pool of blood with a bloody letter beside it. I hardly remember any events happening before I woke up but I decided to read the bloody letter beside me which read: You have made your choice. Meet Prince Alaric at school today for your first mission. I was confused but I lazily went to the bathroom to take a shower and ate breakfast before arriving at school.

I remembered that I had to meet Alaric in the hallway for us to be given a mission so I waited for him for 30 minutes until he arrived.

"Hello Lukas." he greeted me in a seductive voice while placing his thumb inside his belt

"H-hi. I've been waiting for 30 minutes flat and you just arrived now?" I said angrily while looking at his thumb inside the belt.

"I'm sorry. Just woke up late." he frowned while patting my head, checking around whether there are still people in the hallways. "I'll be earlier next time."

"So we are here to get our.. mission right?" I asked him.

He nodded and a bright glowing light appeared on his hand which happened to be a white envelope with a seal on it. "Here are the missions to be accomplished."

"What is it?" I grabbed the envelope and opened the seal to read the letter inside.

"Well well well. We have to eliminate these people and find the 4 pastel gems in order for us to open the first gate of Xenuar." he evilly grinned.

I grabbed the letter harshly from him and read the list of people who I needed to eliminate.

TO OPEN THE FIRST GATE OF XENUAR:

Eliminate the following people:

1. Klein Connors

2. Bethany McKayla

3. Aaron Cameron

4. Ian Sanders

"Before I forget, these people listed aren't normal so you better be careful or you'll end up being killed." He grabbed my wrist leading me outside of the campus.

"Hey where are we going? We have to go to classes!" I pushed him away, rubbing my red wrists from his grip.

"They have no idea who we are and we don't exist in this world line so it is not a problem." he dragged me to the passenger seat and closed it while he jumped into the drivers seat quickly and turned on the engine.

"So I am in a different world? I don't also exist in my family here in this world line?" I frowned at him, looking down.

"Exactly. Stay strong and fight. You'll go back to the original world later after we have completed the mission, okay?" he drove into an old abandoned building. Once we went inside, he went towards a table and drew some symbol on it which glowed and turned gold.

"What is that for?" I asked him while leaning on the gray dirty wall.

"This helps us pinpoint the location of the pastel gem leaders we have to eliminate." he replied coldly while working on the symbol.

"So what should we use to eliminate them? I have no weapons." I twirled my hair while looking at him in the eyes, planning to eye-rape him.

"I'll give you weapons later. Just shut your mouth so I can concentrate on this stuff." he glared at me while continuing his work.

"Fine." I spat back.

-- After 3 hours later --

"-ake up! Wake Up!" I opened my eyes to see Alaric in front of my face. I pushed him away and sat up asking him whether he was done with his work and he nodded.
