Meanwhile at home'

Juan PoV

Back at the house Papi was cleaning off the table and washing the dish while Mami changed my pamper. I could hear the water from the kitchen faucet from the living room where mama and I had been, when mami was done with me she sat me in front of the TV and put on "Martha Speaks".

"For some reason I find this show...shall I say intriguing"
I thought to my self

I begin to laugh seeing Martha speak, that's when Mami got on her knees next to me. She looked at me with those beautiful sky blue eyes and her smiled at me, but for some reason her smile seemed really empty as if something was going to happen; something bad or if mother was longing for something. Witch ever it was it made me sad 

"Sofia!"

Papi called, mami saying her first name witch gave me a chill, that ran down a baby spine. Today was just really strange, since breakfast Lily usually always leaves the house at 7:30. While am in the living room watching Martha Speaks" but today everything was just too off I don't understand whats going on, or if I'm the only one who is realizing our daily retinue is being messed up.

"He's coming soon..I want the baby in his room and lock the door from the inside"Papi exclaimed rather harshly and with a worried tone 

I looked at Papi very puzzled because he only did that or spoke this way when that man was coming over, Papi for some reason never liked this man coming he could only talk about everything but our family's magic; I never understand why he does this but hes good at it. Last time the man left very upset because Papi wouldn't tell him how old Lilly was and what kind of magic she has.

"Geezzzzzz" Mama said emphasizing the 'z' while picking me up from the floor and placing me on her waist

I saw Papi nod while handing Mama my bottle and mama taking  it before descending upstairs with me still in hand. She seems kinda anxious about something as she made her way up stairs  into my room, she then gently placed me in my crib handing me my bottle being how I'm a big boy so I can hold it myself. Mama then locked my crib like I would try to get out if this comfortable thing then placed a kiss on my forehead, after a few second she walked over to the door making sure the lock was going to work.

"Ok baby, good night" Mama said while clicking this button on the lock that made it as soon as the door was shut it was locked from the inside all while making a nasty sound, Mama then left the room and that nasty sound replaced her Ugh..sooooo annoying stupid lock. After a few minutes of Mama leaving to go downstairs I could faintly hear the house door opening followed by feet moving, and that was all. I took the bottle I was given the contained warm milk and started to drink it..knowing that it was for sure going to put me to sleep and it did just that
