The Devil Inside

chapter 1

      "Shut the hell up Max!" My father yells at me with his acid. While he beats me to the ground. 

       Hi my name is Maximum but everybody calls me max, and I have depression. I have a devil within me and he keeps putting me down. "Dad stop!" I yell back with tears in my eyes. He just beats me harder. Let me guess you are probably wondering where my mom is, right? Well I really don't know. All I know is that she left me, my dad, and baby brother. by ourself. Yeah you got it right my dad blames me for her leaving. And yes my dad drinks so usually when ever he's drunk, which is all the time, I get beat.  

        My screams were silent and everything went blurry. The next thing i knew i was being dragged to my room and i pass out. I wake up screaming with the devil comforting me saying soothing words to me. "Shh everything is going to be alright, daddy devil is here and i wont let anything happen to you."  The devil whispers in my ear. I hear my baby brother crying so i try to get to him before my father does but i was to late.

       "Shut the hell up you fucking baby!" My father yells at my baby brother Chase. I run up and push him away from the crib. " get him to stop crying! You bitch!" He hits me in the gut while he yells at me and he walks out. 

          I pick up Chase and rocks him back to sleep. "shh, its OK i wont let mean ole dad hurt you i promise." I say to him soothingly while crying my eyes out. "i'm sorry this happened to you Chase. This is all my fault. I wish I could do something but I will try my best little brother. I promise." I say now putting baby chase back in the crib after he feel asleep. "I'm sorry."

      I run back in my room before my dad sees me. I jump on my bed and start crying my eyes out. 'Someone please help me and my brother get out of here.' I write down on paper. Then make it to a paper airplane and let it fly out my window. "I hope someone finds it and gets us out of here." I say to myself.

    "don't worry about people trying to help you i'm right here. now go to sleep daddy devil will protect you." The devil whispers in my ear ones again and I fall into a deep sleep with nightmares of my mother leaving.
