Prologue- Ceia Lunde

Ceia was barely a woman, nineteen years old yet she looked barely any different as when she first layed eyes on The Sith Academy on Korriban. Her shoulder length raven hair, steel eyes and young complexion made it seem like she had barely aged a day past fifteen. She had made it so far in the few years she had been alive and she honestly believed that she had more than her fair share of suffering. She had lived the first 14 years of her life in complete loneliness in a small room with just a bed that smelled like mold and sour milk, eating and drinking the bare minimum to keep herself alive.

The very confused Shadaa native was beyond out of her leauge when she first arrived to Korriban and she only made it through the terror of facing other acolytes who were more prepared than her by keeping a low profile and making herself seem... too weak to worry about, not that she found that a difficult task. She prefered reading about the different feats of the empire in the acadamies libraries, reading on how the galaxy feared the ruthlessness of the sith and how they lived their life in glory, Ceia knew she wanted that. Ceia wasn't prepared to live the rest of her life lonely and fearing what was to come next.

It was in a data pad when Ceia first learnt what a family was and what it meant. The days following she became obsessed with the concept and longed, longed oh so much for a family of her own. It was all she could think about and what drove her. For the longest time her only motivation was to find her family, discover why she was left at an orphanage when she was born and find a place where she would be accepted because people loved her unconditionally.

It wasn't what was expected of a sith, no. In fact it would be considered her greatest weakness, her need and drive for acceptance from others would be her downfall and would be the reason why people would one day end up being the death of her.

It wasn't until one day when Ceia was browsing through the libraries of the academy that she stumbled across a man who in time she would grow to love and hate at the same time. This man was a sith pureblood, proud of his ancestry and a master of the mysteries of the force. He went by the title Farseer Midjen, dropping the traditional rankings of the sith heirarchy in favour of his own. He took interest in Ceia and her search for knowledge and only after a brief conversation would he offer her to accompany back to the Imperial capital of Kaas City, to the headquarters of the Inquisition he studied under at the time.

Ceia was taken under the Farseers wing not long after and became his apprentice, where she learned far more in a single conversation than she ever would poring through every data file the libraries of Korriban held. When the Farseer switched orders and instead decided to base himself in a temple academy run by a close friend of his that he knew from the days of an apprentice.

Her name was Khalei Cathain, she was a noble born sith from Kaas city. Her actual title was Lady Cathain and she opened a temple grounds on Yavin IV as an academy a few months into her apprenticeship. Ceia had never met her, but she heard many things and grew to admire her from the words others had spoken. She was a cautious and secretive woman, more of a diplomatic being than a warrior. She was mysterious, difficult to read and only did things that would benefit herself, but she was respected and liked and was spoken of in a way Ceia could only wish people would one day speak about herself.

It was also at the academy that Ceia met a man, older in looks than he was physically who went by the title Battlemaster Skarvod. He was in charge of... Something, Ceia didn't know exactly what, but he was a warrior and people feared and respected him. She didn't see him in that particular light herself but instead admired him and saw the battle master as her second mentor. He taught her a lot when the Farseer was absent, about reaching into herself and calling in the force to do her bidding. He even was planning on tutoring her on how to utilise Juyo until the events that eventually led to the fall and closure if the academy happened.

Ceia took an interest in pyrokinesis at her time in the academy. Not because of any particular reason, she just enjoyed the look of it. It was as she was learning that she came to appreciate the destruction and violence it came with. Once something caught on fire the damage would continue on until the flame was put out. Fire left its mark in its wake, just how Ceia wished to.

And that's how it worked, Ceia just wanted to be accepted and leave her mark on the galaxy. Could anyone blame her, she was an ambitious girl who lived her life in complete isolation.

Things started to change when she one night allowed herself to get drunk. It was a stupid idea but she did it and went off and disturbed a lesson the Farseer was holding with one of his other apprentices, Yuleesh. She must have been at least a couple of years older than Ceia herself, she was quite friendly to her and honestly was one of the only people that Ceia could ever seriously a friend. Ceia ended up paying for her drunken shenanigans, quite dearly as her master taught her a lesson when he forced her to drink poison, poisoning representing the alcohol she drank and tainted herself with. She was bedridden for days afterwards, not knowing of her master's plans.

Farseer Midjen was a wise man, one of the many reasons Ceia looked up to him, he knew what was for the best for the academy. It was with this reasoning that Ceia believe that he did what he did while she was in the infirmary. Midjen didn't believe Lady Khalei was suited for running and thus he did the only thing he thought suitable of him to do. He rallied members of her regime, her friends and teachers, and went to go kill her. She had been missing for some time, Ceia didn't know the details of why but through rumors she heard that it had been at the cause of misuse of the Regimes funds and a failed project. Lady Khalei Cathain, the only family she had ever known to exist was dead.

It tore at the 18 year old. She hurted on the inside for the longest time. Ceia did not even know when the pain started to numb, it must've been months later. Once the events of what happened had died down and her master had disappeared along with the rest of the population of the temple. Once the Zakuul had invaded the rest of the galaxy and taken everyone she had known away from her once again, leaving her in complete loneliness and isolation once again. All she had left was the empty temple grounds and what her memories permitted to remind her of what she had grown accustomed to in the short few years she felt like she was somewhere she could thrive.

It must have been 6 months when Ceia finally let herself leave the planet. She took a shuttle to Kaas city with nothing but her lightsaber and a driving need for her to find her family, whether that be another Cathain or her master.
