Hello! This song doesn't have much to do with this chapter, I just like it. The song is Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance.

Ace p.o.v.
I finally made it to the Target that was near my house, or what was left of it. I hid the car in a house that was half fallen down- like INSIDE the house, I really wanted to know what's going on- left Mocha in the car, and headed inside.

I grabbed one of the carts that was still intact, and started 'shopping'. It was really more just, what's useful, what's not useful, since there wasn't anyone to pay. I'm pretty sure the store was supposed to be closed since it's, like, one in the morning or something, and it looked like someone had driven a tank or something through the front doors.

I was in the ice cream section- you can't judge, I was panicking. Ice cream helps panicking in my opinion at least- when I heard a click behind me. I turned around to see that some guy had what turned out to be an AR-15 Assault Rifle pointed at my head.

"Don't move, I'll shoot!" He said. I'm not very good at listening though. I took a step back and closed my eyes, but because I must be really lucky, he didn't shoot me on the spot. I opened my eyes, wondering why I didn't have a bullet in my head yet, and saw him out cold on the floor, and a girl holding a baseball bat standing behind him.

"Areyoualright?DidIgethereontime? Didyougethurt, didhehurtyou?" She was talking really quickly, and just kept speeding up so that I couldn't understand her.

"Laila, calm down. NEITHER OF US CAN UNDERSTAND YOU." I finally noticed the girl standing behind me, and that it was her who had said that. She had her hands on her hips and a crossbow on her back.

"Oh, right. Sorry Juli, sorry person-who's-name-I-don't-know." The girl who's name I now thought was Laila said.

"Um, it's alright, my name is Ace by the way." I replied.

"It's nice to meet you Ace, my name is Juli, and that's my friend Laila." Juli said.

I bent down and picked up the gun the nocked out guy had dropped while Juli started explaining what just happened

"Ever since that weird earthquake-thing happened, people have been going around gathering supplies and shooting each other and threatening to shoot each other." She said.

'So then I probably will need this gun.' I thought to myself. I finally noticed that they didn't have any supplies themselves. "Shouldn't you be gathering supplies to?" I asked.

We were for a while, but then this exact thing happened to us."

"She means someone stole all the stuff we collected while threatening to kill us." Juli interrupted.

"Right. After that, we ran to the sports section and grabbed some weapons so that we could protect ourselves." Laila replied.

I paused for a second, "they have crossbows in the sport's section?"

"what, oh, no. This is just from the guy who was also in the sports section. Laila knocked him out with the baseball bat."

"Oh, that's a relief. At least no one else will be able to pick up a crossbow." I said, a little relieved.

"Um, sure. If it makes you feel better to think that"

"JULI, be quiet." Laila whispered

I'm not sure why though, they were right next to me and I could hear them perfectly.
