Chapter 1•Healing

Regular POV
Marienette looked deeply in her lovers eyes. "What will they say? What will they think?" She started to cry. Chat noir came up to her and wiped her tears away. "Princess, it doesn't matter what they say. I l-love you." He kisses her gently. She was taken by surprise, but gladly accepted it.

Chat Noir POV
Me and my lady just finished battling a really hard akuma. I decided that I was gonna confess my feelings to her today. She was about to leave before I grabbed her wrist. "My lady, wait!"
"Chat whatever you have to say, can it wait?" She asked me annoyed.
I sigh and shake my head. "Please, just hear me out." She sighs and nods. I take a deep breath. "Je-Jet'amie!" I look away while saying it. I hear silence for a little while and turn back to her. Ladybug is standing there. Eyes wide.
"Chat Noir... I'm." She was saying. I got excited and started to smile. "I'm... Sorry." My smile then turns to a frown. "Why?" She looks away. "I-I... Don't love you." I let out a little gasp and try to hold back my tears. She looks at me. "I'm so sorry. I really am." She then takes off.
I fall to the ground and start to cry. "W-Why? Am I n-not good enough?"
Marienette POV
I go back to my house and turn back to my civilian form. "Mari. Don't you think you were a little hard on Chat?" My kwami Tikki asked. I groan and put my face in my pillow. "Yes, I do! I'm so stupid! I should've put it a little nicer." Tikki lays next to me. I sigh. "Did the past Ladybugs have this problem?" She giggles. "Of course they did. A lot of them to be honest." I go to my balcony.
"Oh, Chat Noir. I'm sorry." I mumble to myself. I start to go back to my room when I hear someone behind me. "Princess?" I gasp and turn around. "Chat! I-... Chat, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He has tears in his eyes.
"Don't look at me please." He turns around. I roll my eyes and turn his head towards me. His eyes are swollen from crying. "Come inside." I say to him.
I tell him to sit on my bed. He nods. I go downstairs and bring some cookies and milk. (My poor sinnamon roll needs some milk😭)
I sit next to him and tell him to tell me everything. "Oh, princess. My lady, she... She doesn't feel the same way." He starts to cry again. I look at him. What have I done to my partner.
I hold up his chin and I hug him. "Look, your just gonna have to move on." I say. "H-How, we have to fight akumas together and go on patrol." Chat's right. "I don't know, just find somebody new. Maybe, someone you know. But for now. I'll be your healer. Making you feel better."
He chuckles, "Thank you princess. Thank you so much." He hugs me tighter. "Your welcome, Chat."
