"Holy shit! Aspen! I'm sorry!" She yelped jumping back at the gun I held inches from her face.

"Collins? What the fuck are you doing here?" I scolded, putting the 22 back in it's proper place.

"Jesus Christ! I can see it's worse than it was. Fuck Aspen." She said running her fingers through her red hair.

"Stop calling me Aspen. It's Lucy. You know that. You didn't answer my question."

"Ugh, the step monster is suffocating me. I couldn't deal with her. So... I hacked dads files and found you here! And here I am!" She said plopping onto perrie's bed.

"Fuck, Collins, you can't hack your dads shit, come here, and not expect for a flag. Shit, you're a computer geek, but you have no common sense. Did you not think it would flag him at work? Hacking into that file could have completely given me away! Jesus Collins. Think before you act. This is why you're not in the feild."

"Ok, Jesus, I'm sorry. It didnt flag him, I'm way better than that. I was cautious." She defended.

"Fuck Collins. You stress me out."

"Veronica stresses me out!"

"Shit, someone's coming. How am I suppose to explain you?" I whispered just before the door opened.

"Lucy, are yo- oh, hi there." Perrie noticed Collins.

"Hi! I'm Eliza! Lucy's cousin." She jumped up grinning at perrie. Oh my god. This is not happening.

"Whoa, violet eyes must run in the family." Perrie's eyes widened noticing that Collins eyes matched my left eye.

"It's a weird mutation that us and our dads have." Collins said. The air caught in my throat at the mention on my father. She looked at me with sympathetic eyes. Begging for forgiveness. I took a deep breathe and nodded.

"Oh my god, I love your necklace! Where'd you get it?" Perrie changed the subject quickly noticing the extremely sensitive subject.

"Oh, actually Lucy bought it for me in the states a few years ago." It was the locket I had given her for her thirteenth birthday. On the inside was a picture of me and the phrase "no matter the distance, I'm right beside you." Engraved in it. It was just before I moved to Italy. We were so close then. Inseparable.

"Do you go to school in the U.S?" Perrie asked.

"Oh no, I grad-"

"Well, we should really get going, English is across campus!" I said grabbing my bag and dragging Perrie behind me.

"Uh, ok, it was nice meeting you Eliza!"

"Stay here. I mean it. And call uncle Bery, tell him where you are." I demanded. I could feel her roll her eyes as the door shut behind me.

"You know English doesn't start for ten minutes. It takes like three to get over there." Perrie sounded slightly confused. Which was understandable after the awkward conversation she just encountered.

"Yeah I know, but she irritates me." I spat. I could not believe what she did. It was so reckless, and irresponsible. Just because Veronica was getting on her nerves. It was unacceptable. Uncle Bery will not have it. She'll for sure have a harsh punishment. She'll probably get locked out of her computer. She's great with hacking, but uncle Bery's better. I was dreading going back to our room. Having to make up shit on the spot. I'll remember it, but lord knows Collins wont.

The rest of our walk to English was left silent. Perrie unsure of what to say so she said nothing at all.

"We don't have assigned seats in this class. Sit with me?" She pleaded.

"Of course." I tried to smile. I followed her to the center of the room. I took the seat to the right of her.

"Look, Perrie, I'm really sorry for my mood today. It's been tough for me the past year, and all this drama isn't exactly how I wanted to begin my fresh start. And Eliza showing up here, is making it worse. And it makes it even worse because when her dad finds out, I'll somehow end up being yelled at too. So yeah. I'm sorry."

"Hey, don't worry about it. But I'm always here for you. No matter what. No judgment." She smiled grabbing my hand. I knew it was the truth too.

"Thanks Perrie. I can honestly say your probably my best friend. Even if I've known you less than 48 hours." I giggled.

"I feel this same way."
