Chapter 12

Sasuke's POV

"Naruto." I called out to him at the hallway

"Huh? Do you need anything?"

"Yeah, someone wants to talk to you." I said

"Who?"

"Hinata. She's going to tell you something important."

"Important?"

"Just shut up and come with me." I drag him to the roof top where I will set up the two.

I already brought Hinata there. I texted her earlier.

[Meet me at the rooftop this lunch break I'm going to tell you about something.] This is just an excuse for her to go. I know that she will refuse when I tell her that I will set her up now. She is there by now and we are almost at the rooftop.

When we arrive at the rooftop I pushed Naruto at the door and closed it. I just stand by at the door in case someone will come in and disturb the two.

'Hinata, you can do it.'

Normal POV

"Hey, wait Sasuke!" Naruto yelled after Sasuke pushed him but he just let it pass and find Hinata.

Hinata is on the other side of the rooftop looking outside. She is waiting for Sasuke and when she hears footstep towards her, she turn back.

"Sasuke-kun?" Hinata's eyes widen to see Naruto instead of Sasuke

"Naruto-kun?" she said

"Hey Hinata. Sasuke said you need to tell me something important. What is it?" Naruto said having both of her hands on his pocket

'What? Why did Sasuke-kun? Wait, is he planning for me to confess now?!' Hinata thought of himself

Hinata's phone rings. Someone texted her.

"Ah! Someone send me a text." Hinata said

"It's okay, read it. I'll wait." Naruto said and Hinata opened her inbox

'It's from Sasuke-kun!'

[You can do it Hinata! Good Luck!]

'Eh?! So I'm really going to confess now?!' Hinata mentally yelled as she blush when she read Sasuke's text

Hinata keep her phone to her pocket and face Naruto.

Hinata look down after seeing Naruto's face and her face is all red now.

"Um...Naruto-kun..." she said fidgeting her fingers

"What is it?" he said

"A-no....eh...um...I...you"

Naruto look at her seriously waiting for anything she will say.

"I....Naruto-kun..."

"I LOVE YOU NARUTO-KUN!" Hinata give all her courage to say those words. And Naruto was surprised on what Hinata said.

Sasuke, who is at the door left when Hinata said those words. His job is done and he thought that the two need to talk with each other.

"I-I've always been watching you Naruto-kun. I've always admire you ever since I met you. It's not love at first sight but because I've seen that you are really a nice person and you are willing to help person like me."

"Hinata... I thought you like S-"

"Do you remember during the opening ceremony? I was bullied with students at first but you stand up and protect me from them." Hinata said without looking at Naruto

"I know that you wouldn't li—"

"Thank you. Thank you Hinata." Naruto said and hug Hinata

"Uh Naruto-kun." Hinata is burning up now

"But I'm sorry but all the love I can give you is just for a friend." Naruto said as he let go of Hinata

"Ah....eh...That's all right!" Hinata said in a panicky voice

"I know that! I just want to tell you how I feel."

"Let's still be friends okay?" Naruto said

"Yeah!" Hinata said with a smile

"I know that someday, you will definitely find someone you like more than anyone else, and that person will like you more than anyone else, too." He said and gives Hinata a thumbs up

Hinata's mind is blank throughout the day. She fixes her things after school and went at the school gate. She waits there for about 20 minutes until the person she is waiting came.

"Hinata?" Sasuke said. He is the one that Hinata is waiting for. She looks at Sasuke with a smile on her face.

"Can we talk for a bit?" She said forcing herself to smile in front of him

Sasuke and Hinata went at the Konoha Park. It's not far from their school.

"I'm sorry Sasuke-kun for inviting you to talk this late." She said swinging herself; Sasuke is also seated in a swing beside her. It's sunset that's why Hinata is apologizing to him, but Sasuke shake his head. "No it's alright. I'll listen to you."

"Thank you." She said but after that she didn't say any words for a moment

Sasuke is just watching her. "Sasuke-kun, thank you for helping me today." She said

"Ah, no. I should be sorry because I didn't tell you."

"I told him. I told him that I like him."

"..."

"...but you know he said that 'all the love I can give you is just for a friend'..."

"I know that would be his answer, because he likes Sakura-san. I know that he doesn't have to like me more than just a friend and that I would be happy if Naruto-kun could be together with the one he liked the most. I would be happy as a result."

"Neji-nii-san told me once that 'the biggest happiness is to see someone you really like stay happy'..." Hinata said swinging herself lightly and Sasuke is just looking and listening at her

"I thought so, too that if Naruto-kun is happy that would make me the happiest..." Hinata's tears are forming in her eyes and Sasuke became more worried about her

"But...after all, just a little bit, I'm not really sure why it is...but just a little bit, I feel like tears are going to fall..." the time Hinata said those words, her tears started to fall to her face

"But if I cry, or make a sad face...I'm sure that Naruto-kun would be troubled..." She said and started to cry. Sasuke can't take to see her cry so he stands up from his swing and went in front of Hinata.

"I hate this...why do these tears come out?" Hinata said as she wipe of her tears with her finger

"I really understand that Naruto-kun has a girl she likes. I know that he likes Sakura-san. I really think that if Naruto-kun is happy, everything's okay...--"

"I know." Sasuke said and handed her his handkerchief. Hinata look up to him and Sasuke is smiling at her.

"I'm fully aware of it." Hinata takes the handkerchief in Sasuke's hands and stood up from the swing.

"Thank you." She said and smile at him. She bows down her head and lean her head to Sasuke's chest

"Naruto-kun said that someday, I will definitely find someone I like more than anyone else, and that person will like me more than anyone else, too."

Sasuke holds Hinata's shoulders. "It's alright. I know that you will find him." He said

"Thank you." Hinata said
