Amy's POV:
"Hurry up Dan we're gonna be late!"
I shouted to my brother. I guess I should explain what's happening right now huh?
It all started, well, I don't remember how long ago, maybe a month? Anyway, it all started at my grandmother's funeral.
Her will said that we were part of the most powerful family in history. She said we could either take $1 million each, or be presented with a clue that could eventually make us the world leaders or something like that. Dan wanted to take the million and buy stuff only an 11 year old dweeb would want. Somehow I convinced him to give up the baseball cards and take the clue. Now we're here, in Austria, in an airport.
"I'm coming, I'm coming, chill out sis."Dan's voice brought me back from my thoughts.
"Where were you?" I hissed as we rushed past couples here on vacation. How I WISH we were on a vacation!
"Checking out the gift shop."
"Yeah well now we're late Dan."
"Sorry Amy I am a ninja. I am never late. However, you are late, so I shall escort you."
"Sure dweeb."
Suddenly someone slammed into me full force.
"Ugh, watch it!" I heard Dan say.
" Shut it dweeb!" A familiar voice said.
Oh,great. Late for our flight and our "cousins" Annie and Jake decide to show up.
"What do you guys want?" Dan growled.
Jake grinned. "Y'all's tickets. Hand 'em over." His Texas twang came out when he said "y'all's". Why did Texans say y'all? Why not just you guys like normal people?
"W-why?" I stuttered, cursing myself inwardly. Why did I ALWAYS stutter?
" Because we want them dork!"his sister said.
"Fine. Here." Dan gave them the tickets.
As they walked away laughing, I glared at him.
"Why?"
"Amy,they are TOMAS! They would have gotten the tickets one way or another!"
I sighed. "I guess you're-" I saw someone who could help us.
"Irina!" I called, running over and putting a hand on her shoulder. She whipped around. Whoa, not Irina.
"Who's Irina?" She asked politely.
"Our c-cous-" I stammered. Darn it!
Dan sighed. "She's trying to say our cousin. Sorry ma'am we thought you were her."
The girl laughed. "No problem. I'm Annabeth."
