Percy POV:

The beach. Finally. The best part was that Nico was here. I could dunk him. Or he could get a tan. Or both. I stretched out on a towel we bought at the store place that was there, and watched as Nico laid down on one towel and covered up with a second.

I waited about 5 minutes, which was really hard but I managed, then I whipped the towel off of him and hid it, watching as he freaked out. I was lying on my stomach so I watched him from under my arm so it looked like I was sleeping. He ran down the beach towards the store to buy another, and I chuckled softly, until I realized he had my wallet. I jumped up and chased him, yelling at him to give it back.

"C'MON NICO! I HAVE YOUR TOWEL NOW GIVE IT BACK, MAN!" I shouted, dodging some little kids and apologizing as I shot by.

I tackled him once I caught up, and grabbed my wallet.

"Ha! I knew you stole it! I took your wallet instead of mine so you would admit it! Haha!" He said gleefully as I started walking back.

"Rude. And to think I was gonna buy you something." I joked, shaking my head at him.

"Right. You spend all your money on Annabeth now bro!" He laughed, rubbing his left pointer finger with his right. "Shame."

"Not true! I also buy candy and soda with it." I protested. He knew that, I bought him Twizzlers right before we went to Austria.

"Great investment."

"Shut up, Death Breath."

He drew his sword and stood like a superhero.

"That's Mr.Death Breath to you."

I laughed.

"Hey who's that arguing with Annabeth and Amy?" He asked, sheathing his sword.

"I dunno." I looked up from the sand.

"Lets go check." I added.

He agreed, and we sprinted over there.

"MOM! STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT PERCY! WE ARE TOGETHER AND NOTHING YOU CAN DO WILL CHANGE THAT!" I heard Annabeth say, her voice level rising. My 4th grade teacher would have sent her to sit outside the door for yelling at an 'outside level'. Ah! Stupid ADHD!

"Fine. I will deal with you in a minute. Amy, dear, I approve of this Ian boy. He seems very wise."

"Ian? We- me- him- we aren't together Mother! We are-what's the word?" Amy spluttered.

"Frenemies?" I supplied, walking up behind Athena.

"Thank you!"

"Shame. Perseus, I told you I'd be back after your spat with the skeletons." Athena said, turning toward me.

"Spat? They almost killed Annabeth! They almost killed ME!" I growled.

"Yes what a shame that would have been if you had died."

I growled, and Annabeth came over and grabbed my arm.

"Mother, do you mind if we continue this in the hotel?" She asked, pointing towards it.

"Yes, yes, fine." Athena waves her hand, and we were in our room, along with Dan, who unfortunately had been in the middle of a cannonball. He slammed into the ground, face first, and I held back a laugh as I helped him up.

"What gives? Oh, hi Mom." He muttered.

She waved, and continued talking to Annabeth.

"He's not good enough! Can't you see he's only going to break your heart as soon as he can? How stupid can you be Annabeth?"

"That's enough. You can insult me all you want, but you will not insult Annabeth. She has done nothing wrong. She does not deserve it. Frankly, I don't think I deserve I either, but she certainly doesn't." I told Athena, wrapping my arms around Annabeth from behind and glaring at the goddess.

She slapped me. "You will not talk to me that way Perseus. You may be 'savior of Olympus', but I am a goddess." She growled.

"You know what? I have to go change into my clothes, so I will be right back." I said, kissing Annabeth on the cheek and storming off to the bathroom, clothes in hand.

AN: You like it? That a good place to end the chapter? Thanks for reading little ducks!

So I was in choir today, and after class, before the bell rang, my teacher played something from YouTube. I figured it was gonna be our music or something, but when she pulled it up, it was the Hump Day commercial! The whole class was laughing and talking along. Best. Day. Ever.

Bye bye and have a Great HUMP DAY!
