QUEZON CITY, 2031

Alden just finished his schedule for the day, they were shooting for another commercial. The staff and crew decided to bond and eat out. Alden and his staff wanted to join their dinner too. They were ready to leave when Alden saw an unregistered number on his phone. He hesitantly answered it.

"Who's this?"

"Hello, its me." A woman said on the other line. He knows Maine's voice but he wants to annoy her more. This is one of his ways to catch Maine's attention.

1st step / technique : ANNOY THE HELL OUT OF HER.

If you don't take me seriously then I'll annoy until you can't take it anymore.

He thought.

"I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet." Alden tried to hide his smile but failed. He let his mouth curve upward since Maine can't see him anyway.

"Alden what are you doing?" An annoyed Maine asked.

"To go over everything. They say that time's supposed to heal ya. But I ain't done much healing"Alden continued to sing.

"Alden.."

"Do you want to hear the chorus already?" Alden asked.

"Alden please don'-"

"Hello from the other side!! I must have called a thousand times!!" Alden shouted at the phone.

"Okay, I'm hanging up." Maine said.

"Wait! You haven't told me who you are Miss." 

"Alden, please kanina ka pang umaga. Don't think na pinakawalan kita kanina, ligtas ka na."

"oh? We met already in the morning? Saan and what time? I'm sure I was in my house kaninang umaga." Alden wondered loudly. Now, he's silently laughing. People around him find it really weird but then these people who worked with him from a long time ago knew that face really well. It looked like they were seeing the Alden who just started dating the famous Yaya Dub. Could it be that Alden found a new love or was it Maine again? They wonder. Nagiging baliw lang yan si Alden pag kasama niya si Maine.
