After Maro, Gen, and I finished eating, we packed our thing's and headed to the next town. Maro was still a bit pissed with what I said to him before, so you could see him stomping the ground, and mumbling to himself on how 'awesome' he was, and how 'stupid' I was for 3 hour's. That's when Gen and I cracked "SHUT UP!!!" me and Gen both said at the same time, while punching him and sending him flying. "Jeez I get it, your awesome and i'm stupid in your eyes, can you please just SHUT UP!!! That happened this morning, it's mid day now and your still mumbling on how much your annoyed by me" I said angrily. Maro got up and stayed silent for the rest of the trip, knowing that even one word from him will 'cost him his life', or at least his lunch.
When we finally got close enough to see the town both me and Maro looked at it with hopeful looks, we both knew what we were thinking 'FOOOOOOOD'. "Stop drooling and lets get movin, this city is known as the 'Ghost Town' it is the most uninhabited town that we have ever been to so far. "If we even see a single living organism walking around here, we should be lucky" said Gen, he always gives us some information on the next city, town, or village that we travel to. I guess it's good to know about those kind of things. I just wonder where he get's all the information on all of the places we visit. Oh well, none of my business isn't it?
As soon as we got to the so called 'Ghost Town' it gave off an eerie feeling, it was like someone was watching us. We headed straight to the first Micky D's (McDonalds) in sight. We went over to the back of the restaurant, which was more like an alley of you ask me. I turned around, because as soon as we got behind the restaurant the feeling got stronger, almost like heavier. "Guy's, don't you have that weird feeling, like someone's watching us?" I asked my two brother's. "what are you talking about now Yoru?" said Maro in his annoyed voice, you can hear that he was still angry with me, that's when he noticed what I said. "What? Don't tell me that my little brother got scared all because we're ina 'Ghost Town'?" said Maro in a sarcastic voice. "Are you asking for another fight?" I replied to Maro, in an angry voice. Gen came between us and hit us both on the head "Knock it off Maro. And Yoru, it's probably just your imagination." Gen said, breaking up the fight once again. 'But I could've sworn I felt someone near' I thought to myself, as Gen broke the back door with one kick. "Well then spread out and find the food, or the storage room." said Gen with a commanding voice. "Yeah, yeah we know" both me and Maro said together. 'Man I know he's the oldest, but that was a bit too bossy' I thought to myself. I went in the direction of what smelled like food. The scent was coming from a broken down storage room, or huge cooler of some-sort, it had thick walls and door, no windows at all, the handle was bigger and harder to move than normal door's, I was lucky enough that the door was open.
I peered inside the boxes that were inside the strange room, but quickly closed it, whatever was in here, smelled awful. "I hope this is edible" he said to himself, looking at the 'food' in the packages. "HEY!!! I found the storage ro-" I never finished my sentence, because when I looked back, the door was closed shut. I felt a chill run down my spine, and then, their it was, that heavy, almost overpowering sensation. I stared into the darkness. I felt someone's prescience, I knew it wasn't just near, but in his very room, with me. I showed no fear in my body language, because I did not want to show any sign's of weakness to this person, even though I was scared out of my mind. Suddenly I felt someone breathing down my neck, it whispered into my ear "I know your afraid". I was panicking in my mind "WHO ARE YOU!!!" I tried to ask with a demanding voice, but it came out as a frighted whimper. The person chuckled "You will help me""oh yes and very soon" it replied. "You didn't answer my question!" I said with a little bit more anger in my voice. I heard it laugh, then laughter slowly faded away. "You will help me". It said faintly, as the voice also faded along with the laughter.
"YORUUUU" screamed Maro "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?!?!?!". I shaked my head and punched the door, it made a huge sound as it broke the wall infront of it. "Calm down Maro, im right here stupid." I said in annoyance. "Anyways, I found the storage room." I told the both of them as they walked near me. All the of us looked inside the boxes "It smell's horrible" I told them with disgust. "Whaddya talkin about" he said, grabbing a handful and shoved it in his mouth. I almost puked, 'How can he eat those without getting nauseous?' I asked myself. "It has a slight stench, but nothing to bad" said Gen while wafting it a bit. Maro handed a handful to me "Here want some?" he said with a muffled voice. "No, im fine" I said, I gagged. 'That's just gross' I thought. "If you don't eat now Yoru, you'll have to hunt for yourself later" said Gen reminding me. "Got it" I left and headed outside of the old, ruined, restaurant where a McDonald's used to stand. I looked up at the blinding sun, and thought about what IT said."You will help me", 'Just what was It talking about?' I thought to myself.
And thus, from that day on, I NEVER ate at McDonald's again.
