After a couple of hour's at Micky D's, we looked around the town for a good place to rest for the night, we decided on an raggity old hotel, because of the fact that they have comfortable bed's and a roof over our heads (not a good one, but a roof is a roof). Also, we didn't have to set up camp, which was even better because we journeyed such a long way. It's times like these where Gen will let us sleep-in a bit. After all, he is a human also, even he likes these hotels, no matter how dirty, or how ruined the roofs look.
The next morning, or uh, day. Yeah, we slept till mid-day, can't blame us, I mean everyone does it once in a while right? "BOOM!!!" "huh?" I said hazily, "What was that?" I asked with a sleepy voice, I herd my brother's arguing, I stood their for a few seconds half asleep. "Oh Crap." I opened the door to see Gen awake and Maro protesting about somthing he 'didnt do'(like always). "MAROOOO!!!!! I yelled angrily, kicking him into the wall "WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO THIS TIME!?!?!?!?" I screamed. "THIS GUY FELL OFF THE BED!!! AND HIT ME IN THE FACE!!!" screamed Gen with anger, yeah he's always like this in the morning. "I TOLD you Gen, that I didn't hit you" said Maro, he always denies it."CALM DOWN THE BOTH OF YOU!!!" I screamed, they both shut their mouths. "Jeez, I honestly don't know who's younger me or you Maro." I said. "But I SWEAR I didn't do it." said Maro. "That's what you alway's say Maro" said Gen with anger, you could tell he has trying his best to control it. "Anyway's we have to move on anyway's" I said. "Okay, start packing" said Gen. "wait, what? You where just , now your, what?" I said in confusion, "I don't get you Gen". We packed our things and left the hotel. Gen 'ordered' us to go look around the town for any clues to help us on our mission.
I went and searched some weird religious worshiping area, or something. The cool thing about places like this, is that almost all the time, they mention something about our mission, to change the world, to make it a better place. They mostly talk about the end of the world, which is necessary to change it completely, but we want it to be re-born WITHOUT killing everyone and thing inside of it now. If we did that, then we are murder's, and we committed suicide (O.O)
It looked like some ancient temple. I looked around and found a couple of books, I (sadly) can't read them, so I took all the books that I could carry, and the one's that looked the most important. I couldn't see where I was going because of the fact I had books higher than my head, but strangely I found Gen with no trouble at all. "Look's like you did it again Yoru." he said with a smile on his face. Maro came back with a whole bunch sacred objects from various places. "Would you look at that, Maro found more junk" I said sarcastically. "SHUT UP!!!! This 'junk' can help us get a good meal in the future." said Maro. "That's allways your excuse Maro, that kind of stuff isn't valuable anymore." I said. "Shut up" he said in a more normal tone. "Anyways lets take these and leave, the climate here is unbearable" said Gen. We grabbed our things and left the 'Ghost town'. I was SOOOOO happy that the weird heavy feeling left, it was overwhelming, it was like taking off the weight on your shoulder's, literally.
We walked for nearly 16 hour's until we reached the forest again. "I would've never thought that I would miss the forest so much." I said happily. "You've always had a close connection to places like this." said Gen. "Really, I've never noticed." I said in reply. "Well even I notice your more comfortable in the forest." said Maro. "Huh, really?, Oh well, Im still relived that were out of their." I said. It's weird that even Maro noticed that, well I never noticed, I just seem to like places like this.
We made camp, Me and Maro went hunting for food while Gen finished putting up camp, when we got back, it was pretty dark, almost mid-night. We sat around the fire while Gen looked at the books. "Here." he said "It took a while to get the message, but this is what I got, 'Go the the Mountain of Time, the 12 knives are needed..."."Knives?" I asked. "It's probably something we have to search for to complete the ritual, that's my guess." said Gen. "The diamond of space will be placed on the stone of life, you will take the fire of eternity and burn the knives." "There's more, but I can't understand it, it seems a bit burnt" finished Gen. At that moment it came back, that overwhelming feeling came back, but 10X stronger than before.
The fire flickered and went out, we heard noises coming from the tree's, then, footstep's. By the sound of it, it seemed the person didn't have any shoe's, Thud, thud, click, Thud, thud, click. And that's when it appeared. "You will help me." It said. I recognized the voice, it was the same voice from the storage room in McDonald's!!! We saw a small old women hunched over with a staff that seemed she was using to help her walk, she was in a black cloak, and the hood covered her face. 'And in return, I will 'help' you"
