Determination

About time...

I head to the kitchen where that goat bitch is supposed to be cooking a pie. Where are the knives? I don't think that she understands...I came down here for a mission. I'm not here to befriend any of these freaks. There's only one thing to do here. Exterminate. And no one will get in my way. I'm not afraid to kill. No one can stop me. I am filled with... Determination.

Time to put on the mask. I walk up to Toriel and wait for her to look up from her boring snail book or whatever.

"What could it be darling?" She asks towards me with that annoying motherly tone.

"When can I exit the ruins?" I try to sound like the innocent little child of my appearance.

"Oh my child, you must not want that. This is your home now! Here look at this. This book contains the many wondrous facts of snails! Did you know that..." and she continues to ramble on about boring snail facts. I look around the room for a sharp object to possibly end her snail nonsense. I run out of the room while she is mid-sentence about something snail related and head downstairs, where she had told me not to go. This must be the exit to the ruins.

By the time I reach the steps I can hear her running after me.

"Oh! Chara! My Child! Where are you going?!"

I rush down the stairs one foot after the other almost tripping myself. I'm met with a long purple hallway and sprint down.

"Oh my child! Please don't do this to me! I wanted to teach you. I want to help you... I wanted to the mother you never had..." and like that she comes to a stop.

"What..?" I ask. What is she trying to say? I stop running from her but move towards her for an embrace. What is this feeling? I feel myself walking towards her. What's happening...

"Yes my child. Come here. Please darling." She cries. I walk a little faster.

"Mom...I..." I stutter.

"Yes my child. What is it my child?" And that's when it happens.

I run and stab her...

She stops. Her face is in shock. In the heat of the moment she realizes that she's been tricked.

"Well I'm sorry for the...short stay. But, I'm not here for "Snail facts" and "an education" I'm here to kill... To exterminate."

"Darling... My Child... I..."

And like that she shatters into pieces.

I know that feeling. The one I felt earlier. The one that urged me to walk towards her but not for her embrace. For her bloodshed. I was filled with Determination. I AM filled with Determination. I AM DETERMINATION.

I stumble to the door to exit the ruins, and like always, nobody came. Let's keep it that way.
