As I watch the rain pour against my window
I think to myself how did i ever let it go this far? Why didn't I stop myself from falling in love with someone who eventually was going to break my soul into a million pieces?
As I watch the rain fall onto the glass I see your silhouette drawn in water and all I can do is feel a tear drop fall against my cheek ..
Rolling down to my lips.. the only time I'll ever feel you against my lips again..
As I watch the lighting shoot down from the sky, it's a reminder of the shock I felt the dreaded day you broke my heart. The thunder was the pain I felt deep in my gut. I didn't know what my life would become after that moment. I felt incomplete , a big part of me missing.
As I watch the rain slow down, it took me to a place where I felt I needed to be. A place of peace , a place of ease. I pray that everyday is better than the last for you because happiness is all I craved for you.
The rain showed me how powerful and how peaceful love can possibly be between two who truly feel what's meant to be. My love for you will forever grow, you're the greatest love I've ever known.
