Noah's POV

We finally arrived at the university campus after getting lost more times than I could count. I went to sort out my registration and accommodation at the front desk, while dad parked the car in front of the residence buildings. Once everything was sorted, dad and I hauled everything out of the car towards Hall Block O6. We made it to my dorm room, where mine and my roommate's surnames were scrawled in large writing on a whiteboard. I unlocked the room, and dad helped me to unpack my belongings. We walked around campus for a while before he decided to leave. "Thank you for bringing me here and helping me," I said.
"No problem. I'm happy for you, Noah. I know you'll do well here." I was given the mandatory speech about being careful and working hard. Waving, I watched dad pull out of the car park, then began the long trek back to my dorm.

When I entered, my roommate was lounging on his bed. "Hi, I'm Noah. What's your name?" I asked.
"Hey man, I'm Christian. When did you get here?" He replied.
"About two hours ago. What about you?" Christian had been on campus since Wednesday. We decided that we would go out tonight so that I could meet his friends. "Nice to meet you, Christian. I'm going to grab some coffee and look around campus. I'll be back soon." Christian nodded in response.

While walking, I noticed that there were a lot of shops dotted around campus. That was great, as I needed to apply for a job soon. Stepping into Aroma Mocha, surrounded by the rich scent of coffee, I made a beeline for the counter. Thankfully, the queue wasn't long. I ordered an espresso to go, and made my way towards the door. Just as I was about to exit, a girl stepped out in front of me, sending my coffee  - and herself - tumbling towards the ground. I caught her by the waist before she fell, and found myself gazing into the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. Hypnotic and powerful, her gaze connected with my own. "Hi," she breathed. I smiled in response.
"Are you okay?" I asked, as she eased up in my arms. Grinning, she nodded. Her smile was beautiful.
"Sorry about your coffee, but thank you for catching me. That would have been painful." I responded that it was no trouble. "I'm Noah," I said.
"My name is Arabella," she replied.
"I like your name. How about you give me your number, in case I need to catch you again?" Arabella laughed, while adding her number to my phone. "Hopefully I'll see you around, Arabella." She winked and waved.
"You can count on it."
