Chapter 6

     That night I couldn't get the image of the dark clothed figure I had seen in the pizzeria at MineCon, had they been there for me? They had been staring in my direction, they were probably looking at the man behind me, right? I sighed and rolled onto my side, if I kept thinking about this I would never get to sleep.
"Wake up Sam" Lizzie whispered, lightly shaking me to get me to wake up.
"Ugh" I groaned. I rubbed my eyes and got out of the bed, staring longingly at the blankets, I hadn't fallen to sleep until about 2:00 Lat night and pair that with jet lag and you got a very sleep deprived Sam.
"Today you're coming with Joel and I to register for school, there is only one month of summer holiday left." Lizzie said as she walked out of the room. "You're in Year 10 rightward?" Lizzie asked
"What grade would that be?" I asked
"About 6'th grade" Lizzie said.
"Oh ok than yeah, Year 10." I answered.
"Great, see you downstairs in a bit!" Lizzie said and left my room.

      Later that morning...

     The time to go came, in the car Lizzie handed me a list of school subjects and extracurricular activities for me to  sign up for.

ADVANCED MATHS
ADVANCED BIOLOGY

I checked off Computer Sciences, Art Club, Advanced Maths, and finally French. I handed the paper back to Lizzie and she set it underneath a small stack of paperwork.
"You'll still learn the normal things like science, language arts, and social studies." Joel reassured me.
"Great" I said smiling.
We arrived at the school I was going to attend.
"We could've don't this online, but because you are transferring here, they wanted all of our signatures in person." Lizzie explained as we walked through the front doors.
"Ok. " I said.
I looked around me right before we walked in, the front doors were glass double doors, the school was two stories high and made of beige colored bricks, there were large bushes flanking the entrance like green guards. A small movement caught my eye, I saw a dark clothed figure out of the corner of my eye, the same figure I had seen at MineCon! I gasped and sped up a bit to catch up with Lizzie and Joel. Lizzie had heard me and looked at me questioningly. I flashed her a smile and pretended to cough, she looked back ahead and we reached the front desk where we handed in the paperwork and signed "Here, here, and... here" (the secretary's words not mine!) We left the school, I looked for the figure again but saw nothing out of the ordinary, I blamed the sight of the figure on tricks of the sun. I didn't worry about it any longer and we headed home.
