At night Sarah was preparing her bed. The room was shared between her and Aania. The diminutive room consisted of two floor mattresses. Sarah checked her cell phone for text messages from her friends, wished them goodnight and kept it below her pillow.

Aania entered the room with a big stretch then yawned and said,” wow today I haven’t done anything but still tired”

Sarah smiled.

Looking at the floor mattresses Aania asked “you don’t sleep on the floor in your own house, do you?”

“No I don’t”

“Is it hard for you to adjust?”

“Yes it I sometimes painful but there am many people who sleep on the footpaths. So should count my blessings.

“Yeh, painful” Aania gave a mocking smile.

“Do you miss your dad?”

“After all what he have done with mom I can’t help my hatred towards him”

The ice was broken by a short heighten man who made his way through the huge hall and put his first step on the wooden staircase leading to the first floor. He was in a white collared shirt and black pants] an envelope, what he carried was the purpose of his ascent. He entered into a corridor with many doors on both sides. He skipped the first two doors on the right and knocked at the third one. A woman in a uniform opened the door. She said, “come in” and left the room.

In the middle of a big room which appeared like a five star hotel bed room, sat a stout, blinged man in black robe. The short man entered the room and handed him the envelope. He read it and grinned, “I guess that is it, is it?” he asked with one brow raised.

“Yes, it has been done”

The stout man started laughing like a devil which started and epidemic quick and both men’s evil laughs echoed the big room.
