After the video I was crying really hard. Ross put his arm around me. "Hey...it's ok..." He said. I whipped my eyes with my black hoodie. "...hey...can we get some food...you know...like a lunch break...with everyone. They all have been working so hard." I asked trying to change the subject. Ross shook his head yes. "K. Let's get some...sushi?" I asked. "Sure." Ross said. We went around the office and got everyone. I walked into Barney's office. He was sitting at his chair doing a video. He turned around. "What's Ares yous doing ins my office dirts?" He asked. "Um...the light wasn't on so I didn't know you were recording. Sorry..." I said heading for the door. "Wait...whats does yous wants?" He asked with a smile on his face. "Uh...we're going out for lunch. We're getting sushi. Wanna come?" I asked. "Just...picks mes ups something." He said turning back to his computer. "K." I said backing out of his office. I shut the door and walked to Adam office. "Hey! We're gonna go get some sushi! Want to come?" I asked. "Sure!" Adam said standing up. We went to everyone else's office. Everyone wanted to have us pick up something for them. So it was just me,Adam,and Ross. We got into Adam's Lamborghini and headed off. It was really quiet in the car,but it's was fine. I got out my phone and texted my mom. I had been so far away from her.
Me:hey mom! How's it going?
Mom:good...
Me:don't lie...is something wrong?
Mom:Hun? I love u so much...ok?
Me:k...
Mom:Hun...ur father...has...
I didn't even finish the text. I didn't want to. My eyes started to water. But I had to. I looked back at my phone to read on last word. And when I did...that word...it broke my heart.
Mom:Hun...ur farther has cancer...
I froze...shaking...fear went through my body. I shut off my phone. It vibrated again. I looked at my phone. A tear feel on the screen. I picked my phone up still shaking. I read it.
Mom:Hun...u still there?
I threw my phone down onto the seat. The car stopped. I was bawling now. Still shaking...I...didn't know what to do...
