Alison the Broadway performer

Alison's Opening Night

It was Alison's opening night on Broadway. She was so excited. Everyone that was a part of the show were so happy to have her in the company because they got to watch her blossom from the first day of rehearsals to her debut as the lead. Ally blossomed into this beautiful girl who would just catch your eye and you would watch her move so effortlessly across the stage. On her first performance all of her family came to watch and support her in the brand new show. Her family was very proud of the person she was becoming as a performer.

They all met her after the show at the stage door. Alison had no clue that they were waiting outside of the door for her to come out to sign autographs for them. Her family had known she was going to be on since she knew. Her parents wanted to surprise her on her first night playing the lead. They first saw the show on her first night being in the show performing in her ensemble track. Jackson and Courtney saw Ally's official opening night when she first made her debut without her siblings because they were in school that day or working. However that wasn't the case for when she first made her first appearance as the lead. All her family made arrangements to see her play the lead because they knew how important it was to her, her first show was on a Saturday at an matinee performance. The person who was originally in the track was on vacation in the Caribbean. The girl who was going on for Ally's original track was Lindsay Nickel.

Lindsay Nickel went to a dance conservatory out in California before she moved back to New York. Ally was very happy with Lindsay going on in her place. They became close friends in the rehearsal process, both of them became a part of the cast around the same time. Lindsay in an onstage swing in the show. Lindsay's track as an onstage swing is she knows most of the female ensemble tracks in the show, so she could perform in any track during a show. She is in every show in at least two scenes every night if she's not going on for one of the understudy's. Lindsay and Alison grew up in the world of dance more then theater. They both tapped a good portion of their life to the New York City stage.

The first show that Alison did was finding peter pans story. Alison was peter pan. In the track of peter pan she got to start the show by laughing. Her favorite thing to do is to laugh to start. She wanted to open the audiences up with laughter.
On Saturday, April 14 was her big day. She was going on as the principal role. She was so excited and her room was covered in the smell of flowers. Everyone was so supportive of her. No one at the stage door could tell it was her first show on as the lead Lauren Briar Rose. Since it was her first show everyone in the cast had a surprise waiting for her at the stage door, Courtney and Jackson were waiting with the rest of her family outside of the stage door when she opened it. Everyone cheered when she started greeting people.

Once her big day was coming to an end it began to click in her mind that she would be on again the next day as Lauren Briar Rose. The next show she thought was a better performance for her because she knew how everything ran in that track. The second day she was on her friends from school went to visit her in her dressing room before half hour. Her friends took her out to eat for dinner after the show. That night was a big change for them all because it was their first time seeing one of their friends in a Broadway show and for most of them it was their first show.
The day after opening night of her role everyone was congratulating her and still surprised that a college student made it to the big stage in her sophomore year. It was such a brilliant chance for her to live during those years.
