8:00 AM
Beep beep
I woke to the sound of my alarm on my phone going off. No! It's my day off. And then it hit me. Its the third Sunday of the month. In other words it's the day that all four of us practice our powers together. Getting up I checked my phone and saw a text from Austin.
A- When you want us over?
L- Anytime. We're practicing from noon to five. :D
A- OK :)I forgot that Taylor and Austin come watch us practice. I grabbed a swimsuit from my drawers and changed. My swimsuit consisted of a navy blue top and black bottoms. Once I changed I headed downstairs. Grabbing a towel from the closet in the living room I noticed that no one had moved since last night except for Jada, Austin, and Taylor. Jada's probably up now that I think about it and Taylor and Austin probably went home. Walking out the big glass doors I let out a breath at the sight of the water. In our backyard we have a swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen. I put my towel down on a pool seat and jumped right in. Letting the water engulf me, I instantly relaxed.
11:45 AM
Of course I'm the first one to the basement. We have a small basement that only fits the training square. The training square consists of four circles with one big circle in the middle. On each of the small circles has a symbol for an element. We have to stand on our elements and practice. Once by ourselves, showing off what we can do, and once with each other, making different weather patterns. Once we do that we go back to practing by ourselves.
"Hey Laur Laur", Jada said coming down the steps. "Hey Lauren!" Spencer said following Jada. "Hey! Where's Kayla?" I asked picking a fuzz off of my outfit. We were all wearing the same thing. Black leather pants with a black T-shirt. I don't know why, but Jada picked them out for us to train in. "She's picking up the boys", Jada replied as Spencer walked back upstairs. "Why? What happened?" I asked suddenly worried. "Oh they think Taylor's car broke down and Austin didn't want to go get his from the dealership", Jada explained. I let out a sigh and relaxed. "Good, as long as no one is hurt."
"Hey! I'm back!" Kayla yelled running down the stairs with Austin and Taylor following close behind. It had only been like 10 minutes. Kayla was in her outfit just like the rest of us and Taylor looked like he hadn't slept in 10 weeks. Taylor and Austin took a seat on the stairs since there was no room for chairs in here. "Should we start then?" Spencer asked. Stepping into place, we nodded.Jada's POV
"Jada, your first today", said Lauren. "Okay!" I responded. I raised my hands into the starting position. I started to swirl my right hand in one direction and the left in the oposite direction. With that simple movement the room became windy. The wind blew everyone hair around and Laur Laur even got closer to the ground to keep from falling. Twisting my right hand into a ball, all the wind sucked up into one wind bubble in my hand. Laur Laur stood back up since the room was back to normal. I twisted the ball and tossed it into the middle of the room. I'll come back to it later when we do the group practice. I smiled and looked to my left at Spencey. "Your turn", I said.
Spencer's POV
I nodded and smiled. I flicked my wrist and the ground beneath us began to shake and rumble. The others sat on the ground to keep, again, from falling. I stopped the mini earthquake I made and instead made the room burst to life with flowers. The flowers grew right out of the tile and sprouted to life. I made daises, orchids, grass, and a whole bunch of other plants. Since I was satisfied with my creation I made a flower bubble and made the rest of the flowers and grass disappear and looked over at Kayla. "I'm done", I said to Kayla. I was excited for the group practice because I get to start it today!
Kayla's POV
"OK, I learned something new", I said while raising my hand. I flicked both of my hands away from each other and a fire bubble instantly was created in my hand. "Wow!" Complimented Jada. "Nice!" Said Lauren. Spence just stared at me with wide eyes. We have been practicing with our elements for years now and I was the first one to do this. I took the fire bubble and tossed it into the middle of the room next to Jada's. I made sure that it didn't hit hers because I accidentally did that last time. Fire went EVERYWHERE. I nodded happy with my fire bubble and nodded towards Lauren. After Lauren goes we can combine all of our powers.
My POV
I nodded back to Kayla to inform her I got her message. Looking back into the center of the room I raised my hands up to chest level. I raised one hand and lowered the other and a water source appeared out of nowhere. I used my right hand to pull the water from its source and gathered it all into one bubble using my left hand. I stared intensely at the water ball I just created and focused on only that. Holding it with just my left hand I used my other hand to boil the water bubble by forcing my hand into a fist which overheated the water bubble and made it boil. Switching hands again I decided to cool it down. I brought the water bubble up the eye level and with one simple blow from my breath it froze. My breath can instantly freeze liquid, which comes in handing when we go on picnics. I tossed the water bubble into the middle and looked around. "I'm ready."
We all raised our hands and gained control of our elements. We decided earlier to make a thunderstorm. Spence always adds her power in first. We have to add in the powers slowly or else it can cause a big problem. The room started to rumble. Getting close to the ground, I prayed that this goes smoothly. Jada was next. Forming clouds above our heads, she made them dark and full. Those always scared me. With that she also make a huge breeze so it seems more realistic. Jada looked over to me once she finished. I broke up my ice bubble and squeezed my hands to turn it back into water. I pushed the water up into the clouds and it began to rain. Perfect. I nodded towards Kayla and in one Swift movement she threw her fire bubble up into the clouds and lightning broke out from the clouds.
A perfect thunderstorm.
We all drew our elements back from the middle of the room, separating the thunderstorm. With that everything seized and became very quiet.
