"I'm grown" i think..

AJ Lake , the son of the most high Bishop Alexander Josiah Lake. His father had the biggest church in Chicago. As a matter of fact the biggest church in Illinois. AJ is a 18 year old who is about to graduate Paul Simon Academic Prep Private School (of the rich) Life is going well for the 12,000 member church son. AJ is very known at school if you ever saw him he would be with his best friend Aaron. Aaron was not just a friend he was also a church employee, he played the piano for the youth portions for church. Anything besides church AJ was not aware of. That's all he knew was church. How to walk talk and especially dress. If you were a member of First Hope Church of God In Christ you would just know that AJ was next to become the pastor or was he ?

For the most part, AJ had a regular routine he went to school in his 20o9 Pearl White Range Rover and after school spent most of his time at church helping his father out. On this Tuesday something would be different as he helped the assistant pastor with new members class as he spotted this beautiful girl and her family attending class. AJ had never seen anyone as pretty as her. He'd seen a lot of members but no one like her. As he thought "She's real First Lady material". The entire night thats all he thought about. He came up with a master plan, but when he came up to introduce the first family he was no where in sight. His mother and father were looking for him. So they just skipped that portion of the class and went on with the tour of the church and showing all of the clubs and activities the church offered. As they were on the tour AJ tagged along behind that special girl. He was just waiting for that right moment to approach her as Alex Jr. not AJ Bishops son or the first son of First Hope Church of God In Christ.  As the tour was coming to an end and it was about that time for the meet and greet.  When AJ slowly made his way to the family to introduce himself ,but as he made his was he saw his father heading to the microphone. They locked eye contact, AJ heart beat thrusted faster and faster as he could only imagine what his father was about to say. Gladly for him he was only about to say a word of prayer and thank the new members for coming. As a relief come upon AJ he settled back on his mission and 3,2,1 he was standing in front of his "First Lady" and all he could say was "Hi". She respond in the sweetest voice ever and said "Hello I'm Shannon". So formal AJ thought, and as they had a small conversation they exchanged numbers (team iphone) she lastly mentioned that she was attending Paul Simon the same school that AJ attends. If that didn't make AJ night I don't know what would. 
Leaving the room with the biggest smile he runs into Aaron right after he just finished his band rehearsal. AJ lead Aaron into his dad's study to tell him all about what had just happened ,but as AJ was talking Aaron stopped him and asked "What about the girl your parents have set up for you to marry?"  AJ didn't even think about that however ; why would Aaron just ruin my night like that ,but that didn't put a damper on his evening. AJ rode home listening to his mixed cd featuring some of the gospel greats that he had met more than often. Pulling into his huge driveway in the gated neighborhood he was greeted by his mother Gwen.
"Hey AJ glad you made it home safely"she said

"Hey mom I'm glad I did " looking down smiling she replied

"Why the smile son"?

"Mom you wouldn't believe the night I've have,had I've met the most beautiful girl tonight."

"You mean at church"?

"Yes mom she was amazing".

Well come inside and we'll have a family meeting.

As AJ was entered the home he heard a ding coming  from his iPhone he instantly took action because the number was unfamiliar 260...... It read "Hey it's Shannon from earlier this evening." This day can't get any better he thought. AJ walked into the den with a huge smile as he was greeted his father and tried to tell him about his evening but as always bishop was not paying not attention at all. He was always too focused on having a masterpiece as a sermon. AJ sometimes felt like his sermons were more important than him. As soon as AJ said "girl" Alex Sr. eyes widen now son he stated you know we have someone special for you but Gwen wanted AJ to tell them more it wouldn't hurt she added. I guess it would be ok bishop stated now that she is a member of the church. Looks like it was a win win situation for AJ, but there was just one thing how could he get the real Shannon with out telling her who his father is. ?
