Chapter 2: With WHO?!

"How about me?" I asked and she laugh.

"Who is your boyfriend? silly." she asked.

"Oh no, I do not have a boyfriend and never will until next year." I replied.

We chatted more and laughed until my iphone rings. I answered it and I heard a really really bad news.

"Hello?" I said.

"Sweetie, this is your mom Dianna." she replied

"Omg, Mom! How are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm doing fine sweetie, how about you? Is London amazing?" She asked.

"I'm just fine Mom, I'm here with my bestfriend Halie. London is so Amazing!!!" I squeled into joy.

"Good hun.... uhm there is something I need to tell you." she said nervously.

"What is it Mom?" I asked.

"Do you remember The Horans?" She asked.

"Yeah I remember them all right." I answered.

"Well you know that we were close friends with them and we made a deal that... when you reached 21... you will have to marry their son, james." she replied then my eyes widen.

"With who Mom?!" I asked with my voice getting louder.

"With their son, James." she said.

"No way mom! I will not marry that.. that.. that jerk!!" I screamed.

"C'mon sweetie.. It's not like its a bad thing." she replied.

"But mom, that jerk used to bully me when we were in 2nd grade!! I could marry anyone, even their dog, except for that guy!!!" I yelled and everybody was looking at us.

"I'm sorry sweetie, but you have to.." she replied then I hung up.

I grabbed the bags of clothes that I bought then I ran out of the mall and into the hotel followed by my bestfriend Halie. I ran into my room then lied down on my bed crying. My bestfriend followed me and start to comfort me.

"Hey what happened?" she asked

"My mom made a stupid deal with some family friend and when I'm 21, I have to marry their jerk son!" I yelled crying.

"What?! wait when is your birthday?" she asked.

"August 20" I answered.

"Oh my, you only have 2 months before the wedding!" she exclaimed.

"I know!" I screamed.

"I've got an idea.. why won't we go to the carnival tonight and enjoy ourselves there." she suggested.

"What time?" I asked.

"Be ready by 6, I'm gonna pick you up by 7." she replied.

"Ok... wait you have a car?" I asked.

"Yeah." she smiled.

"Why didn't you bring it here then?" I asked and gave her a confused look.

"Well I went to my work which is only 2 blocks away from my house then I decided to visit you here which is only 5 blocks away from my work." she answered.

"Ok." I said and sniff.

She went home and I slept on my bed. I dreamed about the wedding and how my life had gotten worse since I married that jerk then I woke up. I looked at the time and it was 6:37 pm!! I ran to the bathroom then I curled my hair. after that, I changed my outfit and wore a skinny jeans, a black shirt that says stay strong and my boots. I also wear a hat and a sunglass to avoid paparazzis. I fix my make-up then I put on a shiny pink lip gloss then a foundation. I grabbed my purse then I looked at the time. It was 7:45 already and Halie isn't here yet. I looked at my phone then I got 3 missed calls and a text from Halie. I read it and it says:

'hey Demi, sorry but I won't be able to pick you up because my car is broken. You can call a cab to go to the carnival and I will just meet you there.'

I got out of the hotel then found a cab. I told the driver to take me to the carnival and he did. When I reached the carnival, I payed the driver and got out of the cab to find Halie. I looked around then I found her with some guy, I bet his boyfriend, falling in line at the rollercoaster.

"Halie!" I screamed then she turn around.

"Demi?" she said.
